    @@UnifiedaxxSthis is pretty wild to say and I don’t really think you can make the comparison between hhh and Vince. Obviously you can compare to the last 10-15 years of Vince’s booking which was horrible, so I’m hoping you’re comparing to the attitude era which isn’t really fair to do. Wwe had free reign to do a lot more than they can now and honesty a lot of the success I think came from the shock factor and how crazy some of it was, but I think hhh is doing great and the ratings have proven that. He’s relatively new at booking too so comparing him to the man who taught him what he knows and did it for 40+ years is crazy

    But without Vince laying the ground work none of it would exist, it would have remained a regional territory and probably went out of business due to a refusal to evolve. That is what made Vince great, his willingness to evolve and take risks. Wrestlemania was a risk, had it failed he would have went out of business. The Attitude Era was a risk, could have easily failed because it wasn’t the image people associated with that company at the time, the most risqué thing they had up to that point was Goldust. Goldust is another thing, no other promoter would have come up with that, same with the Undertaker, Kane, Mankind. He may had went off the path near the end but at his peak no one could touch Vince McMahon in booking.

    Triple H has been around some of the greatest wrestling minds and talent of last 40 to 50 years during his career. Plus he doesn't drink, smoke or do any drugs so he probably actually remembers advice given by the legends. I'm not surprised he's thrived so much in the "creative"/ "booker" role, whatever you wanna call it. He understands the talent and knows a good story. Moxley has never had a good match. Triple H would have definitely called that one if it was "very old school" and that was almost certainly done as a lesson to Ambrose to try and teach him the basics because let's be honest, Moxley still doesn't have those basics down.

  • @MrTeamGuy

    @MrTeamGuy

    @@jamesedmonds7519 Moxley vs Eddie Kingston (Worlds End), Moxley vs Punk , Moxley vs Orange Cassidy (their first match), Moxley vs Naito, Moxley vs RUSH, Moxley vs Danielson, Moxley vs Pac, Moxley vs Hangman (death match). To say Moxley never had a good match is being dishonest. Moxley has a style that reminds me of hungry dog keep fighting. It is a tough dog, and to put it down you will have to beat it down. His opponents get exhausted by Moxley mentality of being this aggressor. And now with BCC camp training, Moxley has improved his defensive skills. Before BCC Moxley used to bleed a lot even when facing mid tier opponents. Now his opponents bleed like pigs. It's not a competitive showcase when it comes to fighting Moxley, it is all about surviving Moxley. And as a storyteller, Moxley has one of more in depth and compelling character progressions on this decade. It is not in your face, not put on the plate, it is very subtle and needs attention to see. What I really like is how Moxley is portrayed as very adaptive and tactical individual. That is not easy to see, but if you re watch Dynamite, you would see the small details everywhere. Basics in Pro Wrestling: that your character would have traits that reflect weakness/strengths/threats and motivations. Basics in storytelling: consistency and full continuity. In this culture, combination of both basics can lead to legendary matches as long as you have two well defined wrestlers going at it. It doesn't matter if you can only use one move, as long as you got the basics, you will hit it out of the park. Sadly with Triple H, WWE dropped the ball as their whole process of storytelling is based on 100 writers working at once. Hard to keep consistency and continuity. I can't say Triple H ever had a story to his character, only part that I can call somewhat of a story is him being Jealous of HBK and him being a snake in the grass. But, that was blatant and amateur, plot holes everywhere. Not HHH fault though. If Triple H was in his prime and was in AEW, I wonder who would be better. Because now, in these 5 years, Moxley had 5 years more of character development than Triple H. And with that, he is only good as a one dimensional villain for someone to beat, and after he losses, he doesn't progress, just starts over to tell a different storyline like he is just being cast in it as an actor.

He just looks fucking awkward in the ring, he's slow, everything he does looks soft as fuck. He can't even throw a convincing forearm. His clotheslines make Sable's look hard hitting. He's just rubbish and I have watched his whole career. He has never been very good, he's never learnt how to work properly. WWE presented him as a star, he's more famous than most of those in AEW and yet he does nothing to increase ratings or sell tickets so it is quite obvious that I'm not alone in knowing that Moxley is no good. 20 years ago, he wouldn't have even got to the WWE. CZW is where he belongs with all the other talentless drug addicts.

I think a lot of fans put him in a bad category because of his association with the elite, the EVP thing, the Young Bucks. But that's just the thing. For me, it's the Young Bucks that bring everyone down around them. I think Kenny is genuinely a good dude and he's not the kind of guy that's gonna shit on a legend even if its 'the enemy' in WWE. Even if Triple H has shit on AEW some. HHH has a lot of his own issues with the Kliq and marrying Stephanie that people always call out, so they're kinda similar. In fact I could see Kenny as CCO of AEW some day, the same position HHH has with WWE now, and he'd probably do a damn good job.
