Fun fact - those 4 screws that held on your old fender with the loctite also fit in the holes where your front reflector mounts are screwed into on your forks. so you can take off those orange reflectors and the long bolts they sit on, and screw 2 of those screws into place for a much cleaner look up front

Nice video. I'll be installing mine tomorrow. One suggestion though. On the bolts that holds it on I'm putting a drop of Loctite on. It will help them resist loosening due to vibration. The original have a dab of Loctite on them.

thank you SO MUCH for this video, helped me so much with my 650 fender eliminator install. Can you possibly do a video regarding putting in white LED headlights on this thing? can you just buy headlights and plug and play and replace the old ones or do you have to do additional wiring or anything?

Grant Ginn yes . You can use any screws for the license plate. Your choice! Usually the bike dealerships have the ones with reflectors on them and spring washer in the back

@@MotoRoUsa That is indeed the question, how am I going to attach it. I think maybe I make two extra wholes in my license plate, or I use the already existing wholes and put some metal with a reflector on in between, idk yet.

@@reneevandeputte8448 you don’t need to put two extra holes . We attach the license plate only on top two bolts and we use those reflective bolts like the ones I sent earlier in that link. We don’t use 4 bolts for each corner of license plate

I’ve got the same one. Did everything the way it should. Only problem I’m having is putting the retainer back in. The seals look deformed and won’t allow the retainers to go back in. 😳

@@MotoRoUsa when you put the turn signal back in it’s the metal retainer you first put on. The rubber part of the light looks a bit deformed. Like it’s pushed in a bit but it’s all the way thinking that was the issue but it wasn’t.

Does anyone know if this is still compatible with 2022 ex650?

I did mine on my 2021 ninja 650 after watching this video. Everything went well but something happened with my rear seat it won't lock anymore. Has anyone came across this?

Unless you pulled the cable that goes to the latch I don’t see why it wouldn’t lock. Check to make sure what’s holding it from locking and go from there.

I checked the cable it is in place but when i put the seat down the latch seems to be pulling back a bit and not sure if I can adjust that
