Excellent video thanks. Is there a smell (of rearing them) that would bother neighbors? If so, how can you manage it or prevent it? Thanks!

I would like to venture into Pig farming around Romsey where I live as am thinking of retirement from my 32 years of nursing, but don't have land. Where can I start?

How do you make sure that the pigs get their greens in winter or do you have a supplement for them? Can you give them leaves from all trees or are there some they can't handel? Thanks in advance

+ikkeduitser When we had "project" pigs on our farm, we would give them food waste from the table during the winter. It wasn't all that much in terms of quantity, but it was nice for some variety in their diet.

Pigs are such a sweet and underrated animal ^_^ Adorable! Edit: I don't have pigs but if I did I'd stay away from the new age stuff, be a good Christian, treat your animals right and they'll respond as they did on farms I have been too.

oh my gosh don't think of them as pets cause your putting them to slaughter ! The years of joy and companionship they are giving to you freely selflessly as you control them for years for a couple of roast dinners for the family and mixed grill breakfasts for a couple of weeks ! This amounts to narcism and not loving or a true heart ! Feel sorry for all the sentient beings you encounter but more so you living with your livingness ! I hope you find consciousness of being and not the attic in the mansions story that it tells you. i wish to flood you with love if you would do me the mercy of receiving this. Big Love and happiness

InternalMind or maybe its because they don't want to show you how your food is really brought to your plate... Even in the best raised conditions, murder is murder and is something no one likes to watch. So why support it?

Well the best thing is that you should not create emotional attachments with the animals that you have raised as food especially with children. You can name the animals with food based names to set the line and prevent from creating the former.

Oy! We must take the pigs to the "abitwa" we jolly well will. Uhh... What? And I thought things were degenerating here in the States. I've shot and butchered several wild hogs and when I raise them this summer, I will act like a real man and a real farmer and butcher them squealers myself.

I don’t know why they’re such negative comments about the Homeopathic treatments. Here in the US there use quite a bit with great results.
