Thanks!! I'm very happy with the beeline solution too! I have read some bad reviews about it but it always worked for me. Been touring Europe two times with it, no issues. I have just replaced the O-rings (for the holder), with some kind of steel wire (the green ones made for gardening type of thing), don't know the exact English word! I read stories of people losing it over time because the O-rings broke! Be safe!

Also zero problems for me... only once I got issues like long delays and missing turns, but it happened only because I had the phone in power save mode... hence there was no active coms between both devices... have fun!

I've been interested in these bikes for awhile. I might take one for an actual test ride. I like British bike styling. Had a Norton 750 in my youth. I'm glad retro is coming back. I wonder if there will be a retro Norton available soon?

Howdy. Looking into one of these. In your experience, do these bikes have vibration issues? ... In my area, to reach 'country' back roads, a fair piece of highway/freeway travel is involved. For extended rides, how to they hold up in the comfort department? Thanks for your video.

It does vibrate from 3000RPM, and for motorway driving you'll be probably sitting at 4OOO RPM. I don't find the vibrations annoying, I actually quite like it, it does make the bike alive. And I mostly feel it in the handlebar, not like my Royal Enfield bullet, where you can feel the vibrations at any RMP and through the whole bike. I've recently been driving from France to Denmark (1400KM ride), mostly B roads, and took her on the Autobahn in Germany. No issues at all. She handles well, and keep in mind she's not a speed machine, but you'll be faster than 95% of cars at 0-100 Kmh. She's fine to sit a 110-120Kmh, with a top speed of around 160. My original seat have been modified (the foam inside) with Bultex foam. Much more comfortable. The stock seat was too hard in my opinion. Rest is OK comfort wise. It's a great good looking machine, engine is reliable and beautiful, But misses a bit character (for me), I'm driving a royal enfield Bullet as my 2nd bike. Overall you can't go wrong with it if you're looking for a retro looking bike but also "can do it all" machine 😁

Thank you kindly. I appreciate your reply. Very helpful. Will look into Bultex foam. (or appropriate Stateside comparable) Have decided on acquiring one, locally. (San Francisco Bay Area) In your video, the mirrors appear less than optimum? ..... Thanks, again. Be safe. @@thefrenchbullet4246

Congrats on getting this wonderful machine 😍 When looking in the mirrors, I'd say 65% of what I see is my shoulders and arms. I've got the "Low handlebar" on mine, apparently only sold in Japan and Europe, and I think the mirrors were made for the high raiser handlebar. Anyways, I should be looking to install mirrors extender, I checked and it's on sale on Amazon for about 10€. Ride safe 🏍🏍 @@pnwoods

That's a nice-shade of blue , mine is the plainer silver 03 model , great-machine to ride . I notice your gear-changes are a bit notchy/noisy , mine is like this since-changing to a different-brand of semi-synthetic oil , I have to focus more on the-process to get a smooth-silent change . Thanks Dave 😁 Yep, I find the gearbox a bit noisy and not as smooth compared to my Royal Enfield Bullet. Yet not annoying to live with. I have done an oil change using a middle priced 10W40 oil grade. I find that didn't really help. Maybe I'll try a different brand for the next one, I have always poured "Motul" on my bullet, and everything runs smooth!

Not to sound too critical but if you synchronised your downward gear changes, you might have a less noisy gearbox.

You are turning the bars in the direction you want to go. You need to counter steer. You want to go left you push on the left bar........ push on the right and go to the right. It's the quickest and easiest way to turn. Try it in the parking lot. Use this to ace the cones on the driving test. If a rider does not use this method then they are not in control of the bike which could mean running off the road or head on in the wrong lane. I hope this helps someone .... I know it did me.

Nice eg of British insularity half a century out of date, with an error or two. Good going for one sentence. If it's a knockoff it would be of their own 1966 650 twin, which in turn was mostly a RGS copy with various nods to Norton, Ducati and Triumph, plus innovations (it would do 112mph). And what British bike of the time wasn't a knockoff of something else, at least in some respect? We would still have an industry if we'd had the humility and business sense to knock off the Japanese competition and do it better. The first Jap inline fours were revolutionary but still very far from perfect and on home ground we only had to keep our eyes peeled and hang onto the ball.

It’s actually more British than the new Triumphs. Back in the ’60s, Kawasaki obtained a license to produce its own version of the BSA A7 motorcycle. The Kawasaki W motorcycles are direct descendants of the original BSA A7s.
