Came across this quite by accident. Never heard this on the radio, never saw it on tv or in the charts and its probably the best most poignant song ive ever heard. Absolutely stunningly beautiful. Shame on you all the radio stations and tv shows that would rather have xfactor or pop idol wannabes on them instead of true amazing talent.

I lost my son suddenly on November 19 /2015. On The 17th I showed him this Vid and he asked me to share it to his Timeline. He was a big burley guy, but his heart was as soft as butter. We're playing this at his memorial on Dec 5th. Miss him. I think it's a Beautiful Song. Thank you, Katie.

Wow, just Wow!!! So many talentless and undeserving grifters make it to the top and are famous while true talent like Katie Melua is not better known. I’m so lucky to have discovered her music.

I lost my best friend very suddenly yesterday in a horrible way. And when I met her we listened to piece by piece everyday. This song really helps.

One of the most beautiful songs that I’ve ever heard that gives me new understanding for a dear friend who committed suicide. He was a gifted musician that was so sensitive. I believe he has finally found true peace in a new heavenly realm. I cry every time I listen to this song and it gives me peace about his sad departure from this beautiful yet sometimes cruel world.

I think it's about grief, as the lyrics imply. Grieving is a repeated process. The woman seems to be grieving the man (maybe her husband or a friend or family member). When he died, she wrapped him around her being, carrying on his appearance, demeanor etc. But she's here for a change (healing), so the barber took that appearance apart and revealed her. But in the end, she continued to grieve, and went back on taking his appearance. It can be vice versa. The man grieving the woman. Barber took him apart and revealed her from the inside, meaning he carried her in his heart. In the end, he's back to himself, but who's to say she's not there if he were to be taken apart again?

This song makes me cry, while the video makes me a little scared...

if you've loved and let go this song is just overwhelming to hear.

It is actually not CGI but it was all real makeup and using a matte to blend it. I know because my son is the male actor.

This video is one of the most creative and well-executed pieces of musical art I have ever seen. The returning of the person back to the original man figure was brilliant. If Katie ever gives a concert in Beijing, I'd use one of the 9 million bikes to travel to the concert. If my wife died before I, this music would be played at her funeral; and then I would literally become a "hopeless drifter." I had a good friend who died and on his funeral day, it rained all day as if the sky cried for him.

This song is my bridge to the sad memories of my lover and I. It also brings my mother's spirit closer to heart. Inspiring song....

This song and video that made me listening repeatedly and thinking deeply.

There's probably some degree of truth to this, however I saw Katie perform this live and the emotions welled up in her to such an amount that she had to play a verse on the guitar before continuing. Afterwards she apologised as tears ran down her cheeks. Quite possibly the most beautiful moment I've ever witnessed.

With the recent release of the film "The Da Vinci Code," there's a lot of speculation on Mary Magdalene and the implication that she was involved with Jesus. I found that there was some discussion that this song may have been a Mary Magdalene reference, and I was wondering if you could expound on that. _*Katie Melua*_:Funnily enough, you're one of the few people that ever caught onto that. It's not really from "The Da Vinci Code," it's more from the book, Holy Blood, Holy Grail, which is one of the first ever books that introduced the idea of Mary Magdalene and Jesus.
