She’s doing too much with her passes tho! I hear what you are saying. I’m watching her right now! She’s already hit two 3s on the pull up! But she’s also turned the ball over twice trying to thread the needle with her passes. I don’t think she needs to be playing point guard right now. Her team sucks. Her teammates can’t hit shit. Clark is getting trapped and double teamed and defended 94 ft. She needs to move to shooting guard and do some catch and shoot. They got her touching the ball every time down court and it’s too damn much for the poor girl!

She’s not wrong- as I’ve watched other teams plan in the league, guards are being EXTRA aggressive with CC, likely due to her popularity and the whole “welcome to the league” mentality. Which honestly, is really a sign of respect for CC. However, there’s no question that her teammates need to step it up if the team is going to be successful. Not only to help her create space, but to catch her friggin passes! They need to be ready at all times for the ball to be coming their way. They have been terrible at catching her passes. Granted, a couple passes haven’t been great. But a large majority have been perfect and they just haven’t been ready.

Dumb ass comment no matter what you say CC will have to adapt to the pro game this ain’t college anymore. Once she does she will be fine. Pretty sure it’s a little of both. Them getting used to her and her getting used to the pro game. Won’t take either very long. Look the pro game is the best of the best. Everyone getting pissed at Diana Taurasi saying there is a learning curve when you come to the pros. Guess what folks she’s right no matter how great of a player you are the speed of the game like any other sport is quicker at the highest level much quicker than in college.

They are definitely not going to win with that lineup. The team has to play with each other for a while to get in sync with each other. CC is not the first rookie to be played hard. I’m sure a lot of the players feel just like Katie Lou but saying it and doing it are two different things. Indiana did not just start playing like this when CC joined the team. Last year they did the same thing to Aliyah Boston. She got beat up. I don’t want anyone to lose their job, but maybe it is the coaching.

Good answer but it’s difficult cause like Katie said CC is being guarded up and down the court. It’s not much her teammates can do to free CC up. CC could get in the action instead of standing are watching and waiting to make 3- points. Look at this clip CC is waiting for the ball she needs to go in there and battle it out and make some 2-pointers. ✌️

The coaching staff can scheme to attack over-aggressive defenses and defenders. If people believe CCs style is similar to Steph then there is something the Warriors do to aggressive defenses. Also, Aaliyah could probably be a 2nd playmaker if Caitlyn comes off the ball. There are ways to counter this aggressiveness. The coaches have to put the players in a position to succeeed.

Let her operate as PG ..I'm sure if she's doubled defense aggressive- she will get the ball to her teamates alot quicker and her team might get a quicker flow. If that doesn't work the 1st month ease her back in- the PG that bite the bullet goes back in as lead. But the WNBA has got to take advantage of the curiosity of eye's on Caitlyn. Got to

It’s so frustrating watching these coaches , and Lin Wood destroy potential greatness. The Indiana Fever start every game with the best offensive player to ever do it. Period. So first maybe put people on the court with her who understand that. I have total confidence in Boston, Smith, and Fagbenlly, I do question Mitchell, and Wheeler. Grace Berger needs to be in the game. Erica Wheeler should never come in the game unless she’s replacing Caitlin for a breather. Grace & Caitlin know each others game, and communicate well together on the defensive side. I also don’t think Mitchell is the best person to pair with Caitlin in the backcourt all of the time. She is a great one on one player, but we need a great team player. They need a team on the floor that understands their rolls. Everything on the offensive side should run through the greatest offensive player in the game. That’s number #22.

How to keep her spirit up… but she was the best player on the planet now that she’s being humble yall asking players to baby Clarke she’s a gimmick we don’t care about trash points she scores has no effect on the game. These are grown women with their own struggles when everybody gotta stop believing in their self so Clark can. Clarke takes 30 shots a game got dayum.

Get more than 2 shooters. The rest of the team made 2 attempts at a field goal. If you don't make an attempt at the basket you have zero percent of making a basket. Quit depending on CC and AB to score all the points. The final minutes of the game the bench showed more hustle than the starting five.

I hate to break it to the Fever coach but Caitlyn Clark cannot handle being the point guard yet! Maybe one day but right now she needs to move to shooting guard! She’s turning the ball over too damn much! They are trapping her and killing her every time she brings the ball up court. Move to the wing. Catch and shoot! Cut to the basket. Move without the ball! STOP trying to make the highlight pass! At this point I blame every turnover on her coach for continuing to have Clark bring the ball up court!

This isn't Iowa, and these aren't the teammates she's had the last few years. Caitlin is a first year pro not a seasoned pro so she needs to remember that as well. Study the opponents, the plays and remember the people on her team are pros and good.

They were one of the worst teams in the league last year. There's a reason they've had the #1 pick two years in a row. Wemby struggled at first also and dude is a freak of nature. Even freaks can't do it alone.

Her team mates threw up air balls and lay ups 5 feet from the hoop. The 5'5" girls are runnning into the trees and getting blocked. Bunch of shot selection that is horrible and has less than 20% chance of going in.

You're right about the coach not coaching well, and about some teammates not showing up, but the league is not only her, they are other people there too that bring views, some in her set and some before her too; like them Aja. Does she bring views? For sure, but for her to be able to play freely, you people need to stop putting so much pressure on her. And stop letting the other players look and feel like they can't ball; that's why some of them be hating. They are only human.

Turned the game off when Samuelson fumbled the pass downlow from Caitlin in the first quarter. Yes, Clark has missed shots, but no one on this team is ready to play to her talent. No big has yet come to half court to set a pick for Caitlin when she is being hounded bringing up the ball, no transition pushing the ball seems to be the coaches decision. CC may not be the end all be all but no excuse for the Fever to be this bad. The Caitlin Clark Phenomenon is almost over. That should give the current wnba players and the retired hags that have did nothing but ridicule CC their jollies. Congratulations the haters have stymied any goodwill the wnba may have had.

The biggest mistake a coach makes in my book you don't take a cheetah 🐆 and cage it.their are certain players who do have a god given talent and you let them play every one must learn to feed off that players d coach is supposed to make sure they ALL understand what that means.you see those Larry bird passes with velocity in stride, you don't stifle that.owners need to step in or she'll demand a trade and every team wants her.
