It's hilarious because bow & arrow or throwing spear would be so much more deadly and efficient due to how slow most bending is in this movie. It's almost to the point that there's nothing special about bending.

This is literally based on book 1, and book 1 katara wasn't so strong either

Aang would have never survived his journey in the series without katara and in this film all she could do is toss some water balloons and freeze water randomly 😭. To say that they did her dirty is an understatement

Zuko looks like Sokka and Sokka looks like no one from the show. Aang looks like he's always worried instead of a happy nomadic air person.

IIRC James Cameron had the idea for The Other Avatar franchise for years but he resisted putting it on screen for a long time because he didn't feel the cinematic technology at the time would have done it proper justice.

It's a LONG LONG way to BA SING SE

2 seconds of Kiawentiio waterbending in the New trailer shows what a fake this Katara was.

Only two things: 1. In some moments of the fight there is no background music for the feeling 2. It looks like an almost finished version of the movie (90%-100%) from there, it looks pretty good for the budget they used, it doesn't look like a total fanmade

@@pokemontas8025 I know, the fire nation is based on Japanese and Chinese culture, just like how almost all the other nations are based on different Asian cultures. Casting white people for any of the characters makes less sense than casting Asian people from the wrong country. At least Indian culture is a part of the Avatar world

I feel like this was something we weren't ready for yet.

This is like the dragonball evolution movie. Everyone should forget 😂 congrats Netflix for finally doing a right live action .

I thank the skies for watching the movie first, before moving on to the main series. I was a late bloomer when it comes to discovering this show.

i- this move made it seem like firebending needed fire around them in order to bend it, when fire basically came out of them.
