MANDY , The reason Ricky keeps mentioning Sky One in HD is because back in 2010 when this was made Sky One was the most popular channel to have a show on as Sky TV was broadcast not only in The UK but also in Ireland , Germany , Italy , Austria & Switzerland . This was 2 years before Netflix launched in Europe and 4 years before Amazon TV , so at the time Sky TV was the biggest broadcasting network outside of the BBC in Europe and to this day probably still is . Right. They don’t all speak English in Star Trek - there’s some tech called the “universal translator” that operates off brainwaves that seemlessly translates for everyone.. On the topic of why all the aliens are humanoids in The Orville (superb show btw!) - well it’s kind of a love letter to Star Trek so I’ll reference the TNG episode “The Chase” - basically an ancient civilization explored the stars early in the galaxy’s life and nobody else was there.. so they seeded loads of M class worlds with their DNA so the coming child races of the future (us lot) would have some resemblance to them You must be the only person living in Argentina that’s never had a suntan before 😂 Loving the XFM uploads ❤

Your skin is probably peeling still as there sounds as if there is sunny warm weather there in Argentina and your skin is drying out from that, on top of your beach holiday,- try some moisturiser and put plenty on twice a day if your not already and try to cover the area thats peeling when out in the sun for now, it should then soon subside

Some context as to why they showed so much of the show is that Karl wasn’t a household name yet so I’m guessing Sky felt they needed to do everything they could to show how funny it is and get people who didn’t know who he was to watch. Even having a “preview show” in itself is pretty unusual! But I did see this when it went out and I don’t feel like it overly spoiled the show for me or anything.

Yes that's what he said. You did decipher it lol. I think that was Egypt where he was eating animal genitals and Karl asked the same question about why they eat that part of the animal and they said they don't waste any part of the animal. They eat everything.

I need my toilet. You're already concentrating on pushing the solid out, and that's already giving a hard time on its own. You don't want to also have to concentrate on balancing, on top of straining. They could also at least have a curtain for the stall, since there's no door. Not nothing at all. But, put a railing in it, on both sides, since there's no toilet. You're still gonna fall into the hole, from straining.

Isn’t it more that Sky One was seen as a bit naff? That was certainly the vibe I felt people had about it around the time this came out. I took it as a cheeky jab at the broadcaster.
