About the first story, I'm super glad, that I set up the parental control lock on my switch when I got it. I really hate the fact that by default you cannot decide to put a password on your switch. It's super useful in such cases but also to prevent your siblings from playing on your switch without your consent. I live alone but I absolutely hated it when someone without asking would play with my stuff.

Parental code is nice for locking the Switch... But just for THIS type of problem, simply engraving your name on it is enough. Or, better, do both... I don't know precisely if it's the case with a Switch, but a lot of such devices are shipped with a card where the serial number is written: if so, keep it in your wallet, too.
Over 1k of stuff in the Switch, hindsight should’ve press charges bc that’s grand theft. Evil like that shouldn’t be allowed to walk it off bc there’s no remorse and they’ll just do it again.

Also with the first story, that crazy lady is teaching her son that it’s ok to steal, lie to random people AND police, and that everything is always someone else’s fault. We need to pray that kid turns out ok!
On the story with a woman's boyfriend who snores: If he has a problem corrected by a CPAP machine, then he NEEDS to use the CPAP machine. Basically, that would mean he's snoring because he STOPS breathing at night. If he's snoring that bad, he's stopping a LOT. This means he could have a heart attack from lack of oxygen, or a stroke. He's also missing out on sleep and hurting his health. I have sleep apnea, and never felt I was getting enough sleep. My late husband told me I snore and I did a sleep study. They found I stopped breathing more then a 100 times in just 6 hours - DANGEROUES. So now I have a CPAP machine and sleep so much better.

@@Chris_xo - A CPAP machine has a constant forced air supply into your air ways. That way when you stop breathing air is forced into your lungs and you then continue to breath. It works for most with sleep apnea. There are also other types of treatment, including putting a electric device in your brain that acts like a heart pace maker but for the brain, to keep you breathing. This is for people whose brains or nerve system skip and thus you stop breathing.

If the noise of snoring is a problem, the CPAP is also a bit loud. Just saying, but ultimately his health is most important.
This is why you should lock things up behind a control or even had a lock on your bag all the time to prevent this kind of things too.
This cop is an absolute Legend
Story 4: The narrator completely ignored the OP mentioning that they are poor young people. Sleep studies aren't cheap. I think they should seriously consider being a two bedroom couple and the snorer should try to lose a little weight. It'll get better. Meanwhile, anytime she's awake while he's snoring, she should listen for pauses, and keep tabs on if he starts feeling less well rested, as that could indicate he's developing sleep apnea. My experience: My snoring partner was costing me some sleep, but it wasn't a huge problem. Then he went through a period of weight gain, and the snoring got worse. He was less well rested, and I was occasionally hearing pauses that worried me. Like the OP, financing a sleep study was out of the question. We made a couple of dietary changes, he lost the excess weight, and the pauses stopped happening. All good. But over the years, I became a less heavy sleeper, so his snoring was bothering me more. That, in combination with other factors, eventually led to us choosing to become a two bedroom couple. It's been great for us. But years later, I still sometimes check in on his breathing when he's snoring while I'm awake, just to be safe.

He started asking me about it, and I tell him "can't sleep, your Snoring is too loud". I'm perfectly content sleeping on the couch because I can actually get some sleep. He is now talking about getting a sleep study after this going on for years. I have even told him that he has a touch of apnea, because I have watched him stop breathing in the middle of the night. He's a big boy and can make his own decisions, which is to sleep by himself while I'm snuggled on my fabulous couch with the kitty cat 🐈⬛

For anyone curious there was an update to the last story made Op showed the fiancé the message and they had a long talk. Fiancé responded to the sisters message through ops account and signed their named They received a long message back and a voice memo from the sister accusing Op of keeping their fiancé away from him and ‘ selfish gold-digging b*tch ‘ Op convinced the fiancé it wasn’t worth responding and that sister just wanted a reaction.

I saw it too and tbh, I sort of suspected after this video that the OP would show the fiance the message and things went on from there In addition to the initial question regarding what OP should've done, I would've simply said to just let the fiance know what happened. On the story alone about the events leading up to the divorce, the fiance ended up being betrayed by his own family. Had the OP simply gave in to the fiance's older sister's demands, things would definitely get ugly and the fiance would feel betrayed yet again and the relationship and engagement would be damaged on an emotionally severe level. So good on OP for taking the time to show their fiance what happened because it goes to show that the two have a great trust to one another.

With the sleep story, I'd suggest pushing for the boyfriend that sleep study. It sounds like OP's boyfriend has moderate to severe sleep apnea. I've seen all too well that when it gets to the end of its progression. Pretty much the boyfriend's not getting proper sleep, he'll start relying on drinking coffee and frequent naps with diminishing effectiveness. Eventually, one of those naps or nighttime sleeping cycles will end up so deep that his heart stops and he'll die like that. Before anyone doubts what I'm talking about, this is how Robert Micheal Rodinsky, my father, died on December 10th, 2018. Even though this happened four years ago and I was a 28 y/o male, this still hurts when I think about him and I miss him every day, especially when I was the last one to talk to him an hour before my mom and his wife of 32 years at the time found the body.

And I'm sorry to OP: if he really values you and your relationship, he would take action. Otherwise, just get used to sleeping in a different room with some kind of noise canceling tools. Good luck 👍

I got a little confused myself. I kept thinking, "Wait, is this OP's apartment or the Mom's apartment?" Regardless, what the sister is doing is outright disrespectful. If I were the mom, I would have made her clean up the kitchen. If she refused, time to take away privileges. This is assuming the sister is a teen/child. Kind of hard to assess what the OP is, especially saying "cooking for my family."
To the snoring person: snoring could be innocent, but very excessive snoring like how the OP described could be a sign or apnea, which basically means you stop breathing sometimes. It get worse over time and also makes you very tired. OP says they don't want to do a sleep study but that's absolutely important, because if it's apnea he needs a treatment against this breathing stop. Also young people can get apnea. And to the OP: sleep in another room. I know it's not fun when you just moved together, but it's the only way to stop being annoyed at your partner for no reason. (From a person who's partner snores and turned out to have apnea)
@debbiethomas2622
Жыл бұрын
And there should be a way to sound proofing (possibly 3-4 layers of it if you can hear him several rooms away) the other room you sleep in. It may not totally block his hard snoring but could lessen it somewhat. We all know medical anything is expensive but what others have said, ignoring it isn't going to make it go away and is a possible prelude to something much more serious. He needs to take this very seriously, if not for you but fir his own health cause, heaven forbid anything else, he won't be able to be able to help himself much less be there for you.

I absolutely laughed at the way the narrator said, "I can't believe someone..." On the conclusion of the first story... I guess him sounding like a karen became a second nature of his. . Hahahaha
I love these hope you never stop and the stories keep coming in!
The team story I totally agree that he needs to stop communicating with her whether or not she is on the team because this is just going to leave to leave to misery not only between OP and the guy but misery for everybody else on the team
Second story where the entitled sis brings her friends to run over everything, he needs to move and not let the sis know where he lives.
4th story: He ABSOLUTELY needs a doctor. If he's a big guy and his snoring is that pronounced, he PROBABLY has sleep apnea. What that means is that if unchecked, he could die any night and he isn't actually getting good sleep.
this channel is the BEST
For the snoring story: you guys should just sleep in different beds. And if you want to have some fun if you know what i mean, just do it then go back to your beds.
If it was a laptop and she had a hour head start she could have broken the Windows 10 (not sure about 11) password protection in a couple of minutes. Easy as pie. Get a LINUX distribution on a USB drive. Once booted up a couple of command can reset the Windows sign in password. Then go back to Windows and because there isn't any, you put your password in. 3rd story, i know that condition, a condition my dad has too called "Apnea in dream" where the snorts became louder but also sometimes it cut it self as if the person literally stop breathing and is even more scary too. There is a cure who is basically a way to open the nasal conduct since the snorts came often from mucose accumulation and bad air flow too. That couple needs medical check out, specially the bf, since that is the begin of Apnea and can lead to stroke late in life.
HAHAHAHAHAAH THE GAME GLITCHING IN THE FIRST STORY 😂😂😂😂😂
For the first story. Thank you for reminding me why I wanted to set it up for my switch
Keep up the good work!!!
I recently had a sleep study and it was the best thing ever, yes the mask sucks but you get options to choose for the mask if it's irritating you, I'm currently discussing getting a different mask due to it slipping up into the middle of my mouth making my eyes get air blown on them, but that's cause the straps can't be tightened any more so I'm getting smaller straps. But before I had it I was always tired, I snored horribly that I had a painful throat every morning and a headache too plus the dryness and I stopped breathing at least 8 times a night. Now I don't stop breathing anymore and my snoring is almost gone or unnoticeable,
Yo in all seriousness this dudes advice and relationship advice is top notch 👌
I like the am I the jerk stories where you can tell that someone is or is not a jerk just from the title even without context
I think the boyfriend should say that she can text about the sports related stuff (e.g. schedules, workout regimine, etc. but no personal stuff and only during specific times, just like teaching assistant has set tutoring hours).
Story 3: I feel She isn't the jerk but at the same time. This is just sounding like she's wanting pity. If she truly wants this resolved, she should schedule an appointment with a sleep doctor. Since snoring is caused by a blocked airway. It could be really dangerous as he could choke in his sleep and possibly die. So I think they should go see a medical professional.
