thanks for the sub! we'll keep the videos coming most definitely!
Hey guys, I greatly appreciate your videos/blogs. I'm coming from a krav maga back ground, but it's still nice to see traditional style with your own approach. Please keep the vids coming. I'm learning a lot!

thanks! Great to hear from people of other styles, we appreciate the support!
What's up fellas. I just viewed this vid and as usual I thought it was great. It gave me a lot of food for thought. I am an Okinawan Goju Ryu practitioner. We practice Fukyu Kata 1 & 2. Thank you for the practical training applications. You guys are a great addition to the Practical Bunkai and One Minute Bunkai channels. Keep up the excellent work. Let me know if you are ever in the New York City area. It would be an honor to train and exchange ideals with you.

Is it truly a good idea to train to block Straits like that when it might be better to be more like a boxer and a evade them?

correct muay thai pads!
Dropping you’re forearm like that to block will leave you open to head kicks. Any good opponent will notice you’re cues & set up a nice head kick when you’re dipping & dropping you’re hands to block a body shot. I like the kata but this shit would not work in a fight.
Bruhh. You don’t armdrag someone as they punch. Have you ever sparred a legit fighter before?!
this is a great idea!
