My father gave his six months salary and my mom gave away all her gold jewellery to the Indian army who came on army trucks during the Indian China war collecting valuable gold from the people since v were still a poor country and v didn't have much money in our reserve bank at that time.I'm proud of my parents.this is what u have seen in this song,where the army is collecting gold ornaments from the common people.Jai Hind!

My grandma was a volunteer worker for the soldiers returning from the border. She used to tell stories as how many of them lost their toes and foot because of lack of proper winter gear during that war... more people died because of that, than chinese bullet... My mom said their school got wool and asked girls to knit sweaters for soldiers- in a hurry to finish sometimes one girl worked on one sleeve and another on the second one and thus resultant sweaters some times didn't have a homogeneous look even.. god knows how many of them of any use by the time they reached to the destination.. but that's how badly the army lacked... Imagine canvas shoes in snow..

True.... those days our grand parents use to be so innocent and simple people.... no one dared to ask PM Nehru that where was all those trunks full of gold and precious gems which were collected by Netaji S C Bose for INA and after his death in plane crash in 1945, it was said to been handed over to Nehru by Japan.... That treasure never got recorded into country's asset by him. Where was that?... Why arms and weapons were not procured using that in 1962?.... Where is that even today? .... Last year History TV had shown a long documentary on this subject, made on the files made public by Govt. in 2017..... It's a big exposure yet such a big fraud of Nehru family.

A woman's jewelry is her pride in india and wen needed they all gave theirs for their love for their country... These were very true scenes in India...

Nehru unfortunately was fooled by Zhou En Lai who pressured him to keep silent when Tibet was being invaded in the 1950s. They even celebrated Holi together and sang Hindi-Cheeni Bhai Bhai! back then. This invasion was a shocker to Nehru then although he was warned repeatedly by Sardar V. Patel about Chinese intentions.

Nehru had built the nation out of nothing, that is the reason modiji got the privilege to run the country. If you compare the situation of our country in 1950 to that with 2004 you will understand. But 'Understanding' is the rarest things in bhakts. So have a great life ahead. Modiji doing everything which is only in favour of his gujju brothers. If you can go through the fact that during pandemic Ambani's and Adani's assets are increased by almost 3 times .Any other common person got that privilege? Petrol prices were about 65/ ltr in 2014 now it is above 110. LPG : 2014 - 450Rs, Now Near about 1000 Rs. He is just looting common people.

Postal, railways, sea-ports, airports, markets, tea, coffee, roadways and much more... And most of these were exactly the same even after 60 yrs. Ur boss Nehru dint move his ass to develop any of these.

When enemy attacked and war happened, we lacked money to afford the war and civilians donated money and many gave their jwellery without any hesitation. Truely inspirational.

This movie is based on the last stand of Major Shaitan Singh and 220 soldiers of the 13th kumaon at rezangla. Actually outnumbered a 1000 to one , they fought to the last man and the last bullet and stopped the Chinese. It's thanks to them that we've still have ladakh and it's still Buddhist. We fought the Chinese at rezangla and beat them back again last year.

The movie was started just before the start of the war and ended after the 1st attack had taken place. See the information at the start of the film. I doubt if Rezangla took place then.

How many of Mohammed Rafi saab's genres have you guys experienced so far? Each time it must have been vastly varied but equally heartfelt. Romance, comedy, classical, patriotic... You are yet to experience his Qawwaaalis, bhajans, ghazals, nazms, rock and roll, sad songs, lullabies..each time you will feel this singer was born to sing that genre itself.

I am sixty years old now but i still get tears in my eyes whenever i watch this song and nobody can do justice to this song except Mohd. Rafi. He has poured his soul into it.

I literally cried with the lyrics and voice of Rafi ,how realistic acting from the actors

why this song makes me cry even if I try my utmost tolerance to control it or resist it ... I still weep...

India has always faced this situation. But then too, we never ever attack on any of the nations first. We just give them a strong answer. In initial days when India got its independence, it was China who always fought with India. Nowadays, China and Pakistan have combined and fight against India, but India has never learnt to attack. We are just the ones who give answer to them. 🇮🇳 If you are good, we are the best in front of you. If you are bad, we can be the worst. Jay Hind, Jay Bharat 🇮🇳

Talking about Mahabharat and Ramayan, if Kauravas didnt want to fight against Pandavas, there wont be any Mahabharat. China attacked India in 1962 for 2 reasons primarily 1. India gave assylum to Tibetan Buddhists and their spiritual head, Dalai Lama after 1959 Tibetan uprising which was brutally suppressed by the Communist regime. 2. To divert attention of public from the Great Chinese Famine of 1958-1962, one of the deadliest man-made famines in human history, made by CCP as a part of their "Anti-Rightist Campaign". Newly independent India didn't know how to tackle such a formidable and powerful opponent and suffered huge casualties. CCP just took advantage of their position as superior and annexed Aksai Chin and merged it with Xinjiang Province. This war taught India a lot and India hasn't lost a war since then. Even Galwan Clashes show that Chinese are aware of India's strengths now and that this is not the same 1962 India.

Agree. And they still do the same. But most Indians seem to not care about even the recent galwan incident. I repeatedly say boycott chinese goods . They have a huge market in India. I feel to some extent we are financing their army which attack us. I have a policy of never buying their products even it is made in India. Jai hind

Every time I watch this I weep..cannot control my tears.. I was very young in 1962..but the dark days are etched on my brain..will take it to my grave.. The fear, desperation, the anger,the sense of betrayal and treachery by China..This nation must never forget nor forgive..

This song is so beautiful,i come back n listen to it sometimes and it just leaves me speechless❤ everytime i listen. The subs did an awesome job however listening to this song in hindi is on a different level.

That footage is of the women and everyone donating money and jewelry at the time when we were lacking with ammunition during the war that's real and one of the moment where on just one call of our PM Jawaharlal Nehru everyone donated everything they can so that the soldiers provide with ammunition and we win that war. Unfortunately we lost it but the spirit of the nation is unforgettable whole India was united as one during that war🇮🇳🇮🇳
