    Yes, if we remember that sitar has been designed to mimic the nuances of vocal music. My teacher always told to not only listen to sitar but also the other instruments, and in particular vocal music.

I salute you and I am not sure whether you with your eminence have acquired PhD but for me your are Dr Anuja Kamat the great Music Teacher of Modern Times. You are keeping Classical Music alive with your indepth knowledge is indeed a great deed. After having listened to your discourses I have realised the lifetime contributions of Stalwarts like Saigal Saab, Rafi Saab, Lata Ji, Asha Ji, Manna Da, Kishore Da, Hemant Da, Talat Saab, Jutika Roy Ji, Shamshad Begum Ji, Mubarak Begum Ji, Geeta Dutt Ji, Mahendra Kapoor Ji and all eminent Playback Singers and Vocalist of our country. Even all Great Music Directors Naushad Ji, S.J, Madan Mohan Ji, Sachin Da, O P Saab, Anil Biswas Ji, Chitalkar Ji and many many more. We have never seen Baiju Banwra and Tansen Ji but we have surely lived in their Era as of now. Thanks and God Bless you with a million hand and one more thing God has bestowed you with a very Smiling face too.
