Honestly I would like you to justify your rants Varun.. I was a huge fan of yours until you got on the bandwagon.. I have my criticisms of the BJP and Modi but not blanket hate like yours..
That Tamil accent was perfect!😂 Especially at middle schools... Adding the "aah" sound at end of every word is equivalent to "hai kya" in Hindi And we extended it's use to English too😂

As an European who grew up in India and had to learn Hindi, this made me laugh so much. The first English I learned was from Indians too, so I had a heavy Punjabi accent for a long time, now I just speak with the accent of whoever I am talking to, even in my mothertongue.

But it won’t change. Even in English it’s the same. It’s not due to patriarchy in India. It’s due to the fact that in ancient times men used to protect women. So insulting a man’s sister and mother was a big deal. Like, I won’t be affected if you insult my dumbass brother or my estranged father. But dare you to speak something ill about my sister or mother, the pride of our family. I know it seems weird why only women are degraded in gaalis. But this won’t change in places like UP and Bihar soon.

@@sawankumar4619 No, if we act dumb they think.. okay they are hindi ppl .... telugu is very difficult language so he's struggling.. not his fault.. If we just speak like a normal andhra person does and then help somebody with hindi skills most of them think he's very smart.. he has conquered Hindi and telugu 😆, Telugu is very difficult (writing) even for them and most of them find understanding hindi very difficult as kids.., so just by acting clueless in a language or showing normal proficiency we can win act and benifit from voth scenarios

So true! While traveling in a taxi in the Middle East (wearing an abaaya.. Which made me look like an Arab lady), two Mallu guys got into the backseat well dressed- looked educated. Soon they started talking filthy things about me & the driver. I quietly listened to it all as I can follow Malayalam very well & can speak fairly good Arabic. When I arrived at my destination I told the taxi driver what foul mouthing the buggers in the backseat were doing. The driver gave them a dirty look.. Their faces were a sight to see! Then I guess he took them to the nearest police station.

I’m not Indian nor Indian diaspora at all, but as an American who has an immigrant mom & literally 1/2 my family being immigrants (from South America), this turned out to be surprisingly relatable. She grew up speaking Andean Spanish & learning British English in school, but ended up picking up Caribbean Spanish & New York English when she came to the US before moving to Florida. Her accents has been a hybrid in both languages since arriving to the US😂

Doing stand-up with a lazy delivery style is tough, but you pull it off so well. This shows that your content is good unlike others, who themselves laugh more than the audience does.
