Not everything is true. Dark people don't get tan and skin burn as much as people with fair skin does.

I'm not dark-skinned, but these brutal truths really made me realize what a despicable society ours is. I mean, just look at the low-IQ fairness cream ads. They portray as if your life is worthless as a dark-skinned person and can succeed only if you apply fairness cream.

To me, hatred of another human being just for who he or she is is the greatest evil. You can be pale as sand in this country and experience hatred for that (buhlieeeve me). Or hatred for your faith. Or for where your parents came from... the lesson I learned from those three realities (so I think it was worth it) was there is no excuse & no justification to hate, to mistreat, to consider taboo any fellow human being b/c he or she looks different. Comes from someplace unknown. Worships God differently or doesn't know Him at all. We can agree or disagree on all kinds of stuff in life, sometimes the things we disagree about may get us pretty riled up--but who we are as people, as fellow human beings...that never changes. The respect and dignity each of us is entitled to should always come first.
