I LOVE how Judy's last quilt has a feel of something from the 50s/60s. If that was the effect she was looking for, she hit the nail on the head with her color selections. I SO appreciate you sharing the many quilts that come in for quilting. It's inspiring to see other people's work. Also tend to agree 100% with the pantograms you select.

I believe the first quilt you showed, the zebra quilt, was made with the warm wishes pattern. It is a free pattern and has been used for project Linus quilts. Love watching your youtube videos.

Seems like every week you mention something that strikes a chord with me. I cut my teeth on Thimbleberries (have MANY of her books and she signed in the border of one of my first wall hangings), love KT(have many quilts in that fabric and took a class with Lynn) and love Kim Diehl. I watched Shar Jorgensen and was inspired by her to hand quilt in a hoop.

Thanks for sharing all the beautiful quilts, as well as your quilting. I love seeing pantographs that you pick out for the quilts as well as your explanation of why you picked it. Hang in there with your Temperature Quilt. It's going to be really pretty when finished. I'm not making it but I enjoy seeing your progress. AND I was excited to see that you have the Meadowlark's Song top all finished. It's gorgeous. Thought I'd share how I press my seams. I use a shorter stitch length when piecing--1.8--and I primarily press my seams open. It does take longer to open the seams up to press but I like how the seams lay flatter, and to be honest I have a difficult time nesting seams. Just doesn't work for me lol.

I believe Cathy's table topper is a version of a wall quilt called North Wind Doth Blow by Jill Reber 1995 booklet. I did this quilt myself in my early quilting years. Very appropriate panto. I hand quilted mine.

Another wonderful video, Tammie!! I loved them all. I also participated in the Cotton Cuts Mystery QAL called Village Green that has now finished. I opted for the small size which measures out to be 58” x 70” with borders. I selected the William Morris fabric collection of blues and soft gray. I really love it and I just got it back from having it quilted. My daughter who works for Gift of Life in Kansas City asked me this year if I would consider donating a quilt for their fund raiser they have in May. I was absolutely thrilled when she asked since it made me feel good to think that she likes my quilts enough to want to use it in one of the auctions they hold at the event. I am also donating a baby quilt and a table topper. I am giving my daughter choice of which quilt she wants but she really likes the Cotton Cuts one. She said she would like to have it for her new home which is almost done so I told her I would give it to her and she could pick another one for the event. She said she could bid on the quilt and if she didn’t win the bid at least they would make a good amount from it. The Gift of Life is an organization that works with organ donations from donors for those needing a transplant. She will be here later this month so we are going to “shop” my quilts and maybe some antique pieces to add for her displays. It will be fun and I am wanting to downsize my various collections. I also signed up for the new Cotton Cuts Mystery QAL called Tree of Life. I want to send a quilt to you in the future so maybe it will be that one!! So fun. Thanks for sharing all of your gorgeous work. Happy quilting…………………

Coming from a garment sewing background, pressing seams open and backstitching is second nature. I can see how hard it would be to explain the difference between the two methods to someone who has only quilted. You did a good job 👏🏻

I just ordered an big apple core template for 10 in squares! I don't want to loose the prints when I cut up my Mercantile layer cake so I was thinking apple core would be more interesting than a square or hst.
