Many moons ago I would drop the needle and let this whole album play over and over and over. Life was good. I've seen this band several times. They're incredible! This sounds so awesome live. Their musicianship is just incredible!

I started listening to Kansas as a child only got to see them live in the 80"'s and I love every song they do. I play piano and guitar is hard for me but i could never hold a candle to them. I saw them in Philly and everyone I knew only knew Leftoverture and Point of know Return. They had never heard masque or any other. I count myself as the lucky one

I was at this show. This is a monster of a band. The stage sound was excellent too. I never did see Kansas in the old days, but the current band is not to be missed.

I had the privilege of meeting and becoming an acquaintance of (Sir) Ronnie Platt a couple of handfuls of years ago with his previous band ARRA in Chicago. He and the band were/are some of the nicest guys I could have met and who is the perfect replacement vocalist for Kansas. I know there are so many people he has inspired along with this amazing band and wish them more success in the upcoming "re-opening" of our country! Looking forward to seeing Kansas again in SoCal. Please put it in the schedule SOON!!!! I am having withdrawals!!

@@cmcneill60 The inspiration for the song came from Kerry Livgren's admiration for Albert Einstein. He wrote the lyrics in a time when he was going through a spiritual transitional phase in his life, and after converting to Christianity, he re-recorded the song with his band AD, modifying the lyrics to make them fit the story of Jesus Christ and retitling the song "Portrait II".
