I remember when Tinyo and his brothers first exploded into Djuma and as 4-5 youngsters and after all these years, it is sad to see him in the state he is at the moment and I do hope the pride supplies him with enough food to keep him going

Beautiful beautiful beautiful ❤️ cubs so innocent and joyous in their playfulness, jumping on dad king tinyo, mama trying to get a rest, but it was really really hard for me to see tinyo like this. I know his getting on but he's just gone from big and healthy to ribs and it's awful seeing him this way. I hope you and mama get a nice meal asap 💘💝

I will never understand how BBs could take down OM so easily. Seeing Tinyo here makes it more inexplicable. I know, it must have been in the numbers...

aw sweet cubbies..be in peace to the two that left soon after..tinyo a real legend!!!

So many mixed emotions as I watch this. It’s fantastic to see Tinyo the always fantastic father here. But also sad cause just hours after this was filmed, two of these cubs were killed by the Avocas. The Dynamics right now are quite stressful.

Come on Tinyo get some food into you and show these cats who is boss.I swear he is the toughest and most aggressive lion in all of Sabie Sands.Alot of these young ones need to learn from this boy.He means business.Nehna needs to be his right hand man and stay by his side.Tinyo reminds me of HairyBelly.He is one big beautiful boy.

@@FrankieKennethL I have alot of faith in Tinyo.He won't be going anywhere.He will bounce back.The only one I worry about near him is Varty.I wouldn't doubt if he was behind the death of the Otthawa male.I hope I am wrong but Sabie Sands is beginning to remind me of the horrible things that went down with the Mapogos and how much they despised them.Are the Birmingham boys the n next target.The Otthawa male knew to stay clear from this area.Varty said he saw the Otthawa male heading towards the Birmingham territory and knew it was dangerous.Well I guess it was he is dead now

Great comment Dizzy, Tinyo was the first male lion I ever saw on Djuma, Tlalamba wa just a baby and both her and Thandi were in a tree on a kill and then along comes Tinyo and up the tree he goes. Enough said but a great sighting.

This was very sad for me to see Tinyo is starving to death. I'll pray for him to get some food soon. It breaks my heart when I see these lions suffer so and they're ribs are showing. I could never go on a tour because of this. I'm too sensitive 😔

@@denislawrence7716 I remember when he was in good health and in good shape and form. Even the cubs look sad from not eating and they don't look too playful as when cubs have a full belly..

Dad sure looks like life has been hard on him. The cubs also look a tad on the skinny side. Tourist companies should provide foods for them.

They all look thin and hungry! Babies need milk and those parents need food to.

I seen on another video, out of 7 cubs four had died from a lack of nutrient and three were left a live. To this day I'm not sure if the three left died too from no food. Not sure if these are those cubs. Mom jumped up bc she has no milk for the cubs. If she can't eat her body won't produce milk. Sad video.

It's always gorgeous to watch cubs playing, it's an instant 'cheer up', 😊 l don't think dad looks so good, he seems to be quite skinny, how old is he? Thank you for sharing this video 🥰😋🤩

The lioness was seen yesterday with only three of these cubs. It is suspected two were lost to the Avoca attack :(

They look very thin. It looks like dad is a bit older. Someone needs to hunt. Are they ok, since this particular footage?

Yes. There are many new sightings of Tinyo on instagram. He looks 500% better now after recovering from his decline (period this was filmed)

This footage is so sad knowing that only hours later 2 of the cubs were killed by the Avoca lions

This was filmed a short time after he had a 2 v 1 confrontation with the N Avocas. He escaped with an injury to his hind leg and lost some condition afterwards as a result. He has however sprung back and looks massively improved from those scene. Note also: this scene was captured in the eve of another intrusion by the N Avocas which resulted in the death of two of the cubs seen here. These are actually among the last images captured of the five cubs alive together :(

So sad. These beautiful beings, especially the little one looked malnourished & had mange. It's a reserve. Help should have been rendered. Some commenters mentioned that 2 cubs were killed. Savage.

I hope nenha is in better shape than tinyo, I’m feeling worried for these small cubs.

I see a lot folks including myself can start to see Tinyo ribs but do not feel sorry for him because 2wks ago in the same state he was in after 2 of his Cubs was killed by the avocas he was enraged and blondie was contact calling for mo hawk but tinyo showed up in stead with a few females from the kambula pride the ladies just watch as they had a scuffle a pretty bad scuffle tinyo put a beaten on blondie without nhena around if he had nhena blondie would have been killed so for those folks who think the avocas got away free after killing the bboys Cubs that’s was not the case and also since then it’s been one bboy with the pride at all times and one patrolling which is dangerous they need to stay together because now blondie limping badly now mo hawk is gonna want revenge so I can not wait to see wat unfolds over the next few months

Tinyo is losing condition fast, his days are over.

I watch the Lion with a broken leg, and I'm astonished that you're filming and not doing anything to help this lion or the other animals. You cannot do that, explore animal life and be indifferent to its sufferings. You have already invaded their habitat and are already an invasive part of their life. You cannot say “We must not interfere”, you and all tourism have already interfered. Now, for God's sake, at least the animals that you're going to film that need medical care, you should take care of it. Don't you see this lion with the broken leg?
