I think the Moral here is Khamzat completely underestimating how much of a high level striker and all round MMA fighter Leon Edwards is. He thinks of Usman loosing to Leon being a big weakness but no one fights like Leon.

Facts. Khamzat went from preparing for paulo who doesn’t have wrestling and as scary as he can be, his roster isn’t great, to taking on one the all the time greatest wrestlers who has beat every ranked fighter in his division. A world of difference.

Usman is really the most dangerous underdog the UFC has ever seen because his losses don’t tell how great he is fr. When he lost to Leon he had that fight won. When he fought him again Leon had so much confidence because he did what everyone said was impossible already. On the other side Usman was shook about losing still. Fresh slate fresh faces and and a new fight Usman can be in top form. Only issue is who tf would want to fight Khamzat being the monster he is. This is going to be a championship caliber fight. I can’t wait to see it.

Usman and Khamzat are both always applting the pressure. Usman is the better striker but he didn't do much against Leon last time out. Maybe it was the headkick and he won't fear it against Khamzat. We'll see.

I think that’s a great point. Even Usman after 2 loses coming up a weight class on short notice is absolutely legend. That takes serious strength regardless of outcome.

Most agree just objectively its better Usman wins cause it'll make things more interesting 1) another hometown upset 2) see how Khamzat handles & performs after a loss. 3) more fights strickland vs usman & rematch
