    Melissa Holland’s Biggest Fan to an extent I would assume. I wouldn’t recommend it but I’m not a tuner, I would honestly ask them what’s the pros and cons are.

  • @youwantshum9860

    @youwantshum9860

    Noe Varela there are no pros, just cons. The extra fuel added to make crackles and pops in the exhaust means more fuel consumption, possible damage to the cat, possible damage to other exhaust components (not very likely). And general combustion in the exhaust system isn't really good for the engine too.

    Thanks for the video. Gave me a few ideas. Here I am decreasing timing about 5-10 degrees and still around 13 and you are going negative….that’s probably the secret for big pops and crackles. A bit too much for me. But I’ll be sure to add the fuel cut delay time higher for 1-2 gear

    Subscribed just because someone actually shows some of what tuning is about, a good friend of mine has a built head stock bottom b20v and needed a decent tune but didnt have 500+$ so I put my wide band in his car checked timing new plugs, went out on the street did a few pulls btw neither of us own a lap top so we had to take his ECU in his house and do the adjustments on his home computer, we got it pretty decent in a couple hours, took it to the track and ran consistent 13.2 at 105+ on street tires neither of us have tuning experience what so ever but now I'm getting a lap top it looks alot more simple now I see how it highlights where your reving in the timing table hopefully the fuel table

    For auto trans drivers ! 1. you have to use the manual shifting mode for pops. And also adjust between 2k-4krpm in the left two Columns of the high map (the map with the H) As well as 2krpm and 2250rpm in the third colomn this is where the auto shifting rsx "manual mode" decelerated at for me. I found -8 timing slow down to be a great sweet spot.

    It might be that simple but this is way to much crackle.. id rather do a custom job on the ignition retardkng tables and do -values or low ones at least for a soft crackle at around 5000, then 3000-4000 and again a small else tion around the 2250 mark.. when doing a run itll only crackle a. it and not go ROAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAR until the car stops basically😂😂 I dont think cops would love to see this as well.. wouldnt beentoo much of a concern to me when tuning but still id rather not get my car shut down by cops for having a bad tune :D
