How to Get 150hp/liter from your Honda!
Today in the MotoIQ Garage we're building a hybrid K24 Honda engine for a customer who wants to get the most power out of his daily driven Acura RSX while still maintaining street drivability! Oh and it also has to run on crappy California 91 octane pump pee! Join Mike Kojima as he explains what parts we used and how we built it!
If you want us to build your engine (we build all kinds) visit MotoIQ.com and fill out the form in the MotoIQ Garage Services tab at the top of the site.. or just click here: motoiq.com/motoiq-garage/

This guy looks like he is gonna start laughing at any second.
Dude's glasses are so jdm.
It's like someone's tickling him 100% of the time he's talking
Mike is like the Bob Ross of cars. His voice is super relaxing and his energy is very uplifting.
This guy just blew my mind, wow. I’m amazed how happy he is with what he’s doing for a living. That’s freakin awesome.
Imagine if Honda made a K series Straight 6.
This guy is Bunta's boy and he tuned Takumi's 86.
how to get 200hp
Rip to modding your car :(
This fella is a fountain of knowledge.
It's like he is super freaking hi and can remember everything he's ever learned and can explain it in great detail. This guy has reached a grand master level.
Would love a vid on the different types of k-series and differences with specs and modification possibilities. There are a lot of vids that explain the differences between the different K series engines (A2, A1, A JDM) but curious how these make a difference when fully upgrading the cams, valves, rockers, springs, retainers etc. As always thanks!
Like always Mike, You are a star! I enjoy listening to You.
Thanks for talking about the forging process and how it relates to grain direction. Really cool to hear about that, along with fatigue stresses and toughness.
love this type of stuff, hope to see this in your Ep3 build!
Very nice explanation, with great details! Thanks for posting
Mike, you are so fun to watch, you make these videos easy to understand and I absolutely love learning from the best! On to the next one! ;) <3
I love these kinds of breakdowns and knowledgeable talk-throughs! I'm not a Honda guy by any means but damn I might just build one with this info for a reliable fun project 😉👌
This guy is a guru!! I’m subscribing!
