The Crab Nebula is stunning, and is one of the most well-studied cosmological objects out there. JWST has now imaged this awesome supernova remnant, so let's take a look at the picture and talk about what we can see in it.

So cool that humanity has been watching this explosion for 1000 years and only now we can see it in this level of detail
Simply magnificent😀
Absolutely Fascinating!! Thank you so much for all the information accrued by this brilliant telescope 🔭!!!⭐️
Great video chris , better than any BBC documentary 🚀🛰🛰🌙🌞🌞🌞
Beautiful… cheers for the update 👍👍👍
Brilliant video, thank you
Zoltar must be very pleased.
I prefer the hubble picture for this one
4:23 The instrument shown is MIRI - were there unexpected details in the 5-28 micrometre wavelengths ?
Nice serpent winding through it. Can you see it ready to strike from the smokey haze on the left? It’s funny how the Hubble visible light spectrum image doesn’t show it but this red oriented false colour image shows the serpent in all its glory.
Great stuff, I had the hubble image in my desktop images rotation already. Thx for reminding me to download the JWST picture :)
An image form JWST named cosmic chrismas tree is roaming on social media... Please make a video on it.
👋🏼
The explosion was visible in year 1054 but the star exploded 6,400 year earlier! Not in 1054!!!
