I’m glad that rash is shrinking. If Jupiter had been to a dermatologist in the first place, the rash would have gone much earlier. Imagine being the person who’s famous for having what is essentially a big red rash!

2:01 The rash looks a bit crusty and raw here. Perhaps someone should talk to Jupiter and tell him to see a dermatologist?

🤣😅🤣😅🤣
The ferret looks a bit like a rat. 😂
so we have only a couple decades left to watch it?
If we want to know why 'red' is shrinking, perhaps a better starting point might be working out what caused an anticyclone that large the first place?
The Great Red Spot faded completely back in the 1970s
I wonder if there's ever been any decent studies on the origins of the Great Red Spot. What originally caused it to form in the first place? I also wonder why there's not more large spots on the planet.

IIRC it was connected to a comet that disintegrated and fell into its atmosphere but I’m not sure which one and how would be it known at all.

@@05degrees You might be thinking of Shoemaker Levy 9, which in any case wasn't the cause of the storm. The Great Red Spot has existed in recorded history for over 300 years while Shoemaker Levy 9 crashed into Jupiter only in 1994

@@yeetrepublic9142 Thanks! That certainly rings a bell for me, it might’ve been this.
Just imagine been up close , The red spot , the storm the size of the earth 🚀🛰🛰🌙🌞🌞🌞
Does its position correspond to any debris deep in Jupiter or at its center?
First! Boy, it’s good to be back here.
