11 August 1999 was the total eclipse event I experienced in south west England. An event I had waited decades to see, and certainly wasn’t disappointed! The American path of the the eclipse would suggest that more people may experience the event than for a long time. A great video, Chris, and I very much hope as many Americans as possible get the opportunity to view your description of what they can expect. As always, Many Thanks

Could you make a video about future eclipses? I live in Europe and wasn't able to see the last one. Any idea when the next one(s) will come?

Sadly there won't be a total solar eclipse over my country in my life time. And the last one was before 2000. Hopefully I'll be able to visit a different country soon

I still remember seeing that full total eclipse back in Oregon from my porch in 2017. It was awesome. Looks like I would have to drive a few hours from Kentucky this time.

I'm hoping the corona is extra wild and that we can see C12 Pons-Brooks

If people only understood, they would Not be excited to see this eclipse! I think it's very likely, the U.S. could experience great CALAMITY, within 40 days of this eclipse! There could be a 9.0 earthquake, on the New Madrid fault line. Also, with the eclipse, crossing and marking an area called little Egypt, this could mark the 3 days of darkness, many are talking about on-line!

You said 8 years but Aug 2017 was less than 7 years ago, in fact it was 6 years, 6 months, 6 days, and 6 weeks to the upcoming April 8 eclipse to be exact, go ahead and do the math yourself. 0:10
