met Justin Rose at the scottish open practice day last year. genuinely took the time to speak to my son, sign his cap and stop for a photograph. seemed like such a genuinne bloke.

Justin is such a class act, absolute gentleman of our sport! When the day comes that he stops playing, he should walk straight into a commentary position (not before captaining Europe though!).

When I got serious about getting better at golf and trying to really understand the golf swing I got a bunch of slow motion clips of pro golfer swings. This might be controversial, but my favorite swing of all time wasn’t Tiger Woods, it was Justin Rose. Not sure if he really gets enough credit for how pure his swing really is. Great pod cast guys. Thank you. Really enjoyed it.

Hearing you boys and Justin speaking so fondly about Grayson and about how you can’t tell looking at people what’s going on was great. So glad you decided to talk about it. Rest in Peace Grayson.

When Justin mentioned the missed cuts, I remembered the media and how they disparaged him. We love to build someone up, so that we can tear them down, just as quickly.

Played a few junior opens with Justin back in the early 90s he was a great fella and barely missed a putt. Remember his dad standing a few yards in front of him on the practice range and making him chip shots over his head.

Great episode and interview of JR. Was already, now even more one of my favorite players. Like you guys said, it’s fun to root for nice people. I keep a mental list of 5- 6 guys that I’d like to see win the next few majors. Before his recent big win in it was Xander, Fowler, Fleetwood, Adam Scott, Rose, and Max Homa. I’m saying there’s a chance.

Really glad the mental health came into the discussion with Justin. It's hard for people to see that anyone can have mental health issues doesn't matter if you're at the top of your game or not look at all the multi millionaire actors, singers, and what not that have taken their own lives.

Great podcast. Surprised but glad you talked about Grayson Murray. Lost two people I knew well to suicide. Both looked like they had everything under control and were handling things well. Then, things spiraled quickly and they decided to take their own life. And that is just it, things can be going well and just like that things can spiral out of control. By talking about it I hope we check in on those important to us to make sure they are doing well. By talking about it I hope someone who is struggling will stop and reach out for help.

Europe, Great Britain & Ireland, have won the Ryder cup, 14 times, with the USA winning it 27 times. From the 1st ever competition in 1927 to 1977, the last time, the USA played just Great Britain & Ireland, the USA won all but 3 of the 22 meetings. When Great Britain & Ireland became TEAM EUROPE, they fared better, winning 12 of the next 22 outright, USA 9 outright. Retained by the USA twice after a half, and once by Europe. Arnold Palmer was the last player captain. With Walter Hagen being another earlier player captain.
