Exactly what I was going to say lol. In college, I worked as a custodian at one of the dining halls, and I would just spend hours in the back breaking down boxes. We even had a machine you put the broken down boxes in to crush the cardboard and you makes bales out of them like bales of hay. It really is a very therapeutic activity

Here's what I'd bet a ton of money on: there is no miniaturized version of the normally tank-sized energy platforms being used by Cuba on embassy staff. I'd also bet a ton of money that Dave Relman (the person behind the 'scientific' paper pushing the energy weapon as the "most likely" cause) will be absolutely silent when the US govt uses these on US civilians, despite Relman's near certainty that the microwave weapons cause permanent damage to humans.

@@jeffm3283 It depends on what you’re looking for when you write. Gold is not as rigid as steel, so it might “flex” a little with a bit of pressure and bounce back, which might give your lines slight variation. There are flex nibs for that purpose, though. There are other ways to get line variation that aren’t gold nibs. I’m the opposite. I look for the most rigid and most fine nibs. Pilot makes extra fine (EF) nibs that make it look as if you’re writing with a needle! These pens also happen to be some of the cheapest ones around at a little less than $10. You can then “eye-dropper convert” them for more ink capacity. That’s my sweet spot 😎👍🏽

Honestly, a microwave ray gun is not implausible, the US military developed one a few years back. Except that one is huge and causes sunburn. So a smaller version that is just mildly annoying is plausible, I just don't know why they would bother. Like, if it's the Russians, why do this in Havanna and not Moscow. Though, if Cuba does have that kind of tech and thats what they are doing with it that would be hilarious.
