I’m trying to buy one of your guides using Apple Pay but it is failing - says it needs a tax id.

@@cathyfitzherbert1729 hi Cathy, sorry to hear that. We are required by law to have the tax ID of anyone purchasing a guide. I understand that attempting to pay by Apple Pay the system bypasses that requirement and the purchase fails. We will probably deactivate the option to pay with Apple Pay.

Thanks Gina. We are snowed under with work and are unlikely to release any Lisbon titles this year. But we're just back from Lisbon with lots of new content we will be publishing during the coming weeks.

Hi Tony and Cecilia - We have purchased and downloaded all your Madrid and Barcelona guides for our upcoming trip in June. This is a great idea and helps a lot both reduce the workload of someone planning their own trip and avoiding the costs of tours not needed for a first time visitor to Spain. The link to the maps does not seem to work from our pdf reader but I can copy and paste that link to my browser and get the map. I'm sure you will get some feedback from us on how all this works on our trip. Edit: the map link works fine with Adobe Acrobat as the pdf reader. Bluebeam, which I use for work, will require a copy and paste work-around as mentioned above.

Dear Steve, hope you'll make the most of our guides and we also hope they will contribute to excellent days while touring Spain. We always check our PDF files with Adobe Reader, but I understand there are many PDF readers around. We'll be interested to hear your feedback. In the meantime, have a superb trip!

You are so right about planning a “roadtrip” or a “train-trip” in our case! 😂 But it does take A LOT of research and logistics. However! I just planned a tour from Barcelona to Madrid to Seville to Cordoba to Granada to Malaga with ONLY YOUR VIDEOS! I’m so excited to share this trip with my Mom! We will be coming over via a Disney Cruise Transatlantic (beginning of May) and staying an extra 17 days before flying back home (USA) from Madrid (beginning of June)! Your videos are one of the most excellent collections for planning a trip to Spain and Portugal on KZread! I hope anyone trying to plan such a massive trip takes all your advice and knowledge!! Your videos have been a lifesaver!! People, I cannot endorse this man and his channel enough!!! Hopefully we will run into you on our travels! 🎉

Hi again Tony - you mentioned you will be expanding your guides in the future. May I suggest a guide for Mountjuic in Barcelona? There is a lot to see in that area and for a newcomer difficult to sort through. Your guides are a good foundation for the rest of Barcelona - I can fit specific sites around them for daily mix and match itineraries but Mountjuic is the one area I am having difficulty with.

Hi Tony. Do you think visiting the Alcazar with a free ticket on Monday is suitable for a first-time traveler? If I enter at 18:00, we can have time until 19:45. I listened to your videos and you say 2 to 4 hours are required. I will be in Seville during the April Festival and my stay will be about 2 days.

Hi Mal, our homepage shows all the guides in our collection, that's why we deem it unnecessary, at least for the time being, to add a search button. As explained on the video, we don't have a Lisbon guide yet, hopefully some time along 2024.

I would love to purchase one of these guides but it is asking for my ID or Tax number. I am not sure what you are asking for. In the USA we do not share our Tax number (Social Security number) and I'm not sure which ID number you need (my driver's license, Passport, gym membership, etc.)

Hi Brian, for Spanish tax purposes, we need to associate the name of each purchaser of the guides with an ID number. We Europeans use our national ID number, which also stands for our VAT number. For residents of other countries, the number on any official ID will do (driver's license, passport). We only keep that information for tax purposes, in the unlikely case we are ever asked by the task authorities to show the invoices for the sales made. All the best!

Thank you Tony. I was able to purchase the Madrid de la Austrias walking tour using my credit card after I entered my official driver's license number. I tried to use the G-pay option but that caused an error saying I need to insert my Tax number or ID (which I had entered.) One suggestion for those of us who are unfamiliar with the neighborhoods would be to include a box/highlight on a map showing the location of the neighborhood in general (without showing the tour route of course). Thank you for the wonderful KZread videos and for these excellent walking tours!

@@ROADTRIPSpainandPortugal Hi Tony, I though tit would be helpful when I click on one of the walking tours that it show a general map of the city with the neighborhood of the tour highlighted. I am not very familiar with the neighborhoods. For example I didn't know the difference between the Gothic Quarter and Ciutadella and El Born. So I had to open Google maps and search for each of the neighborhoods. Anyway, the walking tours are really excellent and I cannot wait to visit Spain and follow the tour! Thank you for all the wonderful videos and these excellent walking tours. I hope you add Lisbon soon since I will be visiting in March 2024! Cheers and thank you.
