This was so beautiful to watch. You and your mom laughing and covering your faces with your hands exactly the same way. I love the bond you have with her. What a way to spend a birthday, on an adventure with the person who loves you the most. Loved it!

do it as often as possible, I miss my mom and trust me that in the end missed adventures together stick with you much longer than the ones we were fortunate enough to share. I think I want to rephrase that... In the end, we remember the time we spent with love ones but we never forget the missed opportunities...

I couldn’t agree with you more. I lost my mom a few months ago and these holidays are rough. At least when I lost my dad I still had my mom and I don’t care how old you get there’s just an empty place where your mom was in your life.

I cried a little when your mom said”Now what am I gonna do?” At the end. Amazing woman! Glad you got to share the end with her! ❤

Linnea, I have watched every single one of your videos in the last two years. I don’t think I am alone in saying you are living a dream, for many of us. Due to health and other circumstances, I am not sure I will ever achieve this dream. I walked the Portuguese Camino and it was amazing to see some of the amazing places I remember walking, I think the same lady was herding her cows when I was there. I walked it by myself and met so many amazing pilgrims but walking with your mom is so much more amazing! Buen Camino. Thanks for sharing!

Linnea, I found your channel right as you were making the decision to go meet your mom. I said "YOLO!" While you were gone, I re-watched your videos from the beginning. This video is stunning!! I think you are a LIbra, Happy Birthday, and I adore my Libra friends as they calm my Sagittarius fire and breathe air into my life. And that is how I feel after watching this...I can take a deep breath. That swimming hole was amazing! There is nothing more soothing than a dip in cool, clear water, or a small, running stream. Watching you with your mom warms my heart and breaks it at the same time. Today marks the 3 year anniversary of my mom’s passing and I miss her so much! Cherish every moment!!! Take advantage of every opportunity to spend time with her! I was very close to my mom. She was my best friend and I was hers. I loved the video and how you speak of her and tell her story!

Sorry you lost your Mama! Breaks my heart too only for a different reason, my mother was unkind and not adventurous so I avidly watched with longing. You got the blessing of being close to a loving mom, hold that in your heart and let it bring you comfort till you see her again.

Doing the Camino was a totally amazing experience for me last year. I lived the "what am I going to do now" blues for several weeks afterwards. Now I'm planning the Via de la Plata from Seville next spring. Thanks for reminding me of the magic. I met some other amazingly strong women and I would have loved to have met your mum (I did my Camino to celebrate my 60th birthday).

10ish miles being the shortest distance for a 67 year old... Epic! Btw happy birthday! Also just love that kinda Coulter of the Camino where they have a special hiking meal for those that are doing this special trail. Along your travels have you had that kind if experience anywhere in America like the Appalachian trail or on route 66? It looks like you had a blast!

I did the full 500 miles . Northern route 2019. Changed my life. I am now a full time nomad, living full time in a 27' Travel trailer with my husband and 3 dogs. Life is grand!
