Hey Bro Pat I’ve always liked the Super As that were 100’s in disguise. Great seeing you.

Great to hear from you!! All I know for sure is that it was MOST LIKELY an IH product.....but who knows! It should be a fun tractor to get going any way! Hope you all are doing well!

I personally find this video interesting. I’m glad you are devoting time and energy to the Farmall’s again. I have too many A’s, 100’s, etc. I personally seem to get more pleasure out of finding/purchase of them than actual usage. Lots of “reasons”, mainly because I like them and its fun. Thanks for sharing and please keep them coming. Hq 6, out.

Hello Stan, I agree! The hunt is a huge part of the fun! they are all great tractors for sure! I've got a good bit of Farmall footage from the warmer months still to edit during the winter...hoping to start making some more headway on that..great to hear from you!

@@aroundtheshop9615 Thanks for your reply. I envy your shop, nice. I’ll not have enough time and energy left to do the things I want/need with my tractors. This summer I need to sell 8-10? Wish me luck.

Awesome find! A lot of folks (not me) down here bend that lift rod to clear the fertilizer drive. The super AI is cool, too. Found on with the highway mower on it at a place near me this fall. It is however, not for sale.

That is what we just did to that one..it was already pretty ugly...so no loss if things went badly!!! Used the template we traced out on the trailer floor at Joey's last summer-turned out pretty good! "not for sale" seems to be a much too common response, doesn't it?

Am thinking that was a farmall 100 someone put a super c grill on it. Probably right hood just wrong grill. Tag be on bell housing. The 100 started in 54 so they can have a z code. I might be wrong. I enjoy yours videos

Hello Cody! Its possible for sure! The "step" in the grille is the thing that keeps popping up only on the Super A1 tractors. I have a C grille down at the shop, and it has a different profile where the center section meets the "chin". You are 100% right on the z code reaching into the 100's too! At any rate, it should be a fun project. Great to hear from you!

Does the Super A-1 have the same block as the 100 and 130? If it has the 123, it would probably be the same block. I noticed this tractor has a dipstick, and in the same location as the 100 and 130. I have a Super A and a 130, both have the water pump on the side, behind the generator. The Super A still has the two drain cock check valves on the side of the oil pan.

Yes, they were the first to get a 123 engine. The super A1 on the Farmall 51 video has a dipstick and the same “step” in the bottom of the grille. Definitely a mystery- should be a fun tractor to rebuild regardless of what it is…
