Watching this on Christmas day 2023. Amazing Carver 🇺🇸
Mike, you just get better every stick you make, you never cease to amaze me with the fantastic detail, and little Pearl would sit on your lap for ever, or until she gets hungry. Well done once more, John.

Thank you! I'm so glad to bring you peace. The Daffodils were the first flowers to bloom for me this year. The banjo was played by Jered Gillispie and I played the guitar in this one. Best wishes to you for a speedy recovery and good health!
Simply awesome. I must get that neat little extension for the Angle Grinder. What is it called and where can I get one ? I have a Yellow De Walt Angle Grinder that I love, but it only has one grinding/cutting shaft ! Can I add that thing onto my De Walt ? . Also the wood burner with the various tips for snake scales. Any name for that ? I must get one of those too ! Thanks, you are the best of the best! TOP GUN !
@StinnettSticks
7 жыл бұрын
Thank you very much! The grinder is called an Arbortech Mini Grinder. I'm not sure if it will fit the DeWalt. I bought mine with the grinder motor attached. The Wood burner is a Razertip wood burner with rattlesnake scale tip, purchaced from Razertip. I have links to these tools and others that I like to use, in the description under the videos. ( just keep scrolling down to find them.)
Bravo! What more can be said?

Great video! I was just wondering how do you get the paint to not rub off in use? Do you coat it, and if so, with what?

In awe of your work. Absolutely stunning, to say the least. How long do you let the harvested wood dry for before carving. Do you kiln or air dry it?
