Jungle Knots For Tarps....bexbugoutsurvivor

Ойын-сауық

Another method to add to your tarping portfolio...
Other methods includes bungges/cordage/ground anchoring.

Great video clear and concise, have a dpm basha on order to go with my dpm 30 Liter NI Pack to replace my worn out medium alice pack and army poncho. British kit is pretty much impossible to find here in United States. Cheers from South Louisiana.

Great tip Bex 👍 Funny thing is, we had a tent with a flysheet made for us in Cyprus in about 1960 and the flysheet had exactly the same tie-outs! I never knew that they were called jungle knots. All the very best to you and yours 👍 👍 👍 🍻

Jungle knots are great mate. Make them better by sewing little pockets on where the eyelets are and then fastening the knots to the eyelets with weatherproof zip ties, they won’t come loose then, the re-weatherproof everthing 😉👍🏻

Thats a brilliant set up and dead simple Bex,,,And once you have made your length of Jungle Knots they can stay made or attached to your Basha and stowed away..No question time if I may....Ive bought an old Olive Army Short Back Bergen/Rucksack without side pouches its plenty big enough for my needs...But the canvas is very old and hard how can I soften the canvas up if at all.....Stay Safe...............

Most cordura material will begin to relax with regular use. Practice packing it and unpacking it every day, and take it for a short hike (not max load) with in a few days the cordura fabric will be more pliable....bex
