I own a few of those books: Grisham, Brooks, King, The 4 novella Star Trek, and Crystal Star. I might get that new Cox Star Trek, I enjoyed his Antares Maelstrom last year. Books next on my TBR: Star Trek Deep Space 9 The Siege by Peter David, The Jedi Academy trilogy by Kevin Anderson, an action/adventure trilogy called Lord Of The Seas by Alan Philipson, and a Dragonlance novel called Tales of Uncle Trapspringer by Dixie Lee McKeone. I am currently halfway through Midnight Falcon, book 2 in David Gemmell's Rigante series.

IT is an amazing book, probably one of the best books King has ever written. The atmosphere throughout the book and the dynamic between this group of friends is unparalleled in my opinion. But … there is the showdown. I read it as a teenager, and back then, it didn’t bother me very much, but now, as a father of a little daughter, I think it is … at least questionable. I’m very curious what you will think about the book and especially the showdown.

Oh My! As a huge King fan, I'm leery of you reading IT because there are a couple scenes that I know you will struggle with... but Man is it a great book. I hope you don't get turned off by this book and give up on King.... so many others of his are 5 star reads for me. The Stand is my all time favorite book and the quintessential book of good vs. evil. Hope you love it!

I just saw on your goodreads that you already read it - and kind of expected the review you gave... I urge you to try the Stand! give him another go! The gunslinger is also a tough one to get through so i feel like you've had a rough intro

That Indiana Jones book was pretty good, as were all the MacGregor ones. Just recently read the one by Steve Perry, it was ok, but MacGregor is the man when it comes to those Indy Tie-in books.

The Crystal Star is a hit or miss with the Expanded Universe. Either way, I hope you enjoy reading those! My TBR, as of right now, includes Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II and the novelization of X-Men (2000).

I’ll add the Associate to my wishlist, I can’t wait to read more Grisham! I don’t know if you’ll like IT as much as I do but I’m very interested to hear what you have to say about it. Maybe we’ll agree, or perhaps the opposite!

Slowly making my way through the expanded Dark Tower reading order and just got to IT as well. It's my 25th King book and by far feels like the most influenced by his use of the white nose candy. Also getting into Star Wars for the first time in years, currently reading Plagueis and then gonna take a stab at High Republic probably.

I read Angel Fire East by Terry Brooks about 25 years ago when it first came out and I honestly don’t remember much about it. But I do hope you enjoy it since I find that the majority of his books are fun to read. 👍
