Ah Abel, wanted to give you a hug while you were discussing that line about (that character). I'm sorry for whatever you may be going through in your life right now, but knowing some of my words may have helped ease even a little of the pain gives me warmth. I wrote that ending because it was how my third grade teacher passed away when I was a kid. She was the first person I had ever experienced death with, and I had a hard time coming to terms with the finality of it all. In the end, I had told myself that line, and gave it a sense of bittersweet beauty that I feel passing on deserves. To know her effect on me has effected others is sort of a beautiful thought. Thank you for sharing all your kind words and for being there since the begining.

Thank you Tom. The words you wrote about (that character) and the way she passed away made me think a lot. There are a thousand ways to lose someone we love, but inexorable old age can be especially cruel, especially if their mind slowly but surely shuts down before the rest of their body. I will hold those words close to my heart, because for me they represent hope. Thank you for everything.
