Oooh yes, that short story by Ryan Cahill was one of my faves of the collection, Vars' backstory was so good!! And gosh, I can't wait to reread Fortune's Fool in anticipation of book 2, that is such a lush and rich story! I also really have to check out more JDL Rosell after loving The Last Ranger, thanks for putting this higher on my radar! 🤩
