I had no idea that Derek had hurt himself! What is it with these two? For Great Balls of Fire, Julianne had just gotten out of the hospital after having her appendix out, and for this Derek dislocated his shoulder? And these are two of the best dances that have ever been on the show! That is talent!!

I don't know much about how dwts works, but I know this isn't the first time they've done something like this. In previous years they've done a "Macy's stars of dance" thing a number of times, and two pros that the audience chose (usually current contestants) danced together for that. It's always fun to see some truly excellent dancing by two pros, but I do get what you're saying, too.

Beautiful reunion. So nice to see them performing together again. Sorry to hear about Derek injuring himself earlier today and hope he's okay. They are so incredibly talented!!
