Me too. I live an hour away from her home town growing up. She's a strong woman. One of my good friends is her personal assistant. My sister has special needs. We were on our way to Kansas and stopped by to meet Kellie. Kellie graciously loaded my sister with lots of autographed merchandise. She has a very big heart.

Kellie is one of my all time favourite stars on this show. I'm so happy they paired her with Derek!

There is nothing this lady cannot do. Everything is a home run. I'm waiting for Tarantino to cast her in a lead role. Oscar no doubt.

I have always thought Kellie and Derek were the best ever a beautiful and most talented couple ever. Both are very very good dancers of anyone I have seen. Love these two

Kellie mastered every single dance and was so lyrical in doing so. Each dance they did together was a masterpiece in storytelling, beautiful lines, and expressiveness. Everything was so clean, crisp, emotional (happy/sad/sentimental/fun/romantic, etc), and dynamic. Derek was the perfect partner for her as he was able to truly encapsulate and capitalize on Kellie’s natural flexibility and storytelling ability. Whoever says she didn’t deserve to win doesn’t know what true technique, storytelling, and beauty is… I was and am still so ecstatic that kellie and Derek won their season, they 100% deserved it. One of the few deserved wins imo.

Derek energy and talent is unmatched definitely one of the best dancers on the planet best dancer from DWTS hands down happy i got to meet him in New York at Radio City

Seriously! From their first to last dance, Kellie looked as much a pro, as Derek!! She definitely earned that mirror ball trophy!!

The Freestyle was the best of them all. Kellie is really good at all those stunt moves

Kellie and Derek was by far my favorite couple to see on Dancing with the stars Derek is such a wonderful dancer and Kellie worked so hard and she was beautiful on every dance

I loved both Zendaya and Kellie, but I have to say Kellie's themes and choreo was traditional more than creative. Every time I look at Zendaya's and hers I see Zendaya brought a modern twist to things as well as being able to perform traditional. Zendaya had fluidity and emotion in her moves. Not to mention, she was the youngest ever on DWTS. Breaking the mold. No matter how much I like both and see the talent in both I will always think Zendaya brought something fresher with so much passion. She really was greater in technicality, passion, creativity, and timing in all her dances. She's the one who did mostly perfect in all her episodes. She should have been the winner.

OMGosh! Perfection! Marvelous! Amazing! Incredible! Terrific! Awesome! Magnificent! Etc. Derek is the very best Choreographer I have ever seen in my 68 years! Kellie and Derek together... ALL of the above and more. I LOVE THIS! ✝️ Praying for Hayley full recovery. ✝️ Feb 2024 ❤ 😇

ME neither, but I was a little miffed it didn't include the WINNING moment, although I saw that on the other video, it still would have topped off the video.

I'm a ballroom dancer myself so I always look for who the good dancers are and who is horrible and who is faking..... If Kellie wasn't a singer, she could have a very good career in Ballroom. She is good from a technical standpoint and she is good at acting the part of what ever dance they are dancing. There are only two people that have been on this show that could actually become dancers.... Kellie and Jennifer Grey!!

@Digby Dooright I know, I was amazed myself. If you like ballroom dancing there is a movie from the latest 90s staring Vanessa Williams & a Latin singer. It's called dance with me. The end dancing scene is all the professional dance champions from that time and it is the most realistic dance movie that I've seen. Vanessa Williams does all her own dancing and it is fantastic. If you love ballroom, you will love that movie!!! God bless!!!

In the history of DWTS, singers have done very well. I think the facility that lets them remember song lyrics, serve them well in remembering dance moves. Also, they "perform" the dances much the same way they deliver a song. Except with their body instead of their voice. IMO, Kellie was Derek's best partner.

I completely agree! After watching Kellie and Derek, the DWTS shows were missing something. Kellie was awesome!

I’m no fan of ballroom dancing, but it was easy to tell that every dance they did was flawless. Derek must be an amazing teacher to teach her how to dance like that in a short period of time. And Kellie is an amazingly quick learner. I hope she can bounce back in some field from her recent tragedy. Her silence from the public is worrisome.

The flexiblity of kellie is what amaze me.

Best dance duo of DWTS to date. I am sure there are many critiques on her technique but they both left their heart and souls on that dance floor every performance. Derek is just spectacular and she is such an amazing human being and it translated to the audience. I have been waiting for another duo like this!!

Thanks to the person who did this video. Love it! Derek showcased Kellie's talent for dancing like only Derek can do. I wish Kellie would try to go it on her own without trying to bring Kyle along too. I know they have a show on CMT. It is good to have a fantastic marriage, but when it comes to a career, that should be something entirely different. Kellie is multi-talented and I would love to see her develop that as an individual. She should be singing and dancing, as well as comedy. Kyle is a song writer and has his career. I want to see Kellie soar to the top. She is a fantastic singer! I mean no dis-respect to Kyle. Sometimes I feel Kellie isn't being true to herself. It isn't my place to tell anyone what to do. I have this gut feeling that Kellie should be receiving the accolades that other country singers are receiving. Her voice is beautiful! Perhaps Broadway would be a great place for Kellie! She deserves the best! Thanks Derek for introducing us to a Kellie Pickler we did not know before DWTS.

Yah, she was on SEASON 5, whereas Carrie won SEASON 4. I know this, in part, since I recall SIMON COWELL remarking, 'I think I like you better than that Country Gal that won last year' or what all. (he had remarked that Carrie was probably going to outdo everyone, after she sang 'ALONE'. Maybe C.U. snubbed him when he asked her out or something?) Anyhow, he is right KELLIE is more outgoing and funkier. Carrie was dissed for being aloof, but she is just shy.
