Because you win by voting from the audience. It's often not about dancing, but about popularity. Zendaya was only 16 years old and had little experience outside of Disney at that time. However, Zendaya won on the jury's score. She won 6/10 weeks (including the final). Unfortunately, she ultimately took second place, losing to country singer Kelllie Pickler...

She can act, dance, sing. She is absolutely gorgeous. Just wow. Love her.

Zendaya certainly is amazing! But like all of us, she has her strengths and weaknesses. As a famous star, she often shows her talents in acting and dancing, and she’s adored by so many people. That said, she has her own daily life, relationships and friendships with people, and problems to deal with in life (even if we can’t see them). No amount of fame makes life perfect or effortless, but often, this effort isn’t always shown. Zendaya’s famous for her amazing talents and skills, and for good reason! But it’s also important to remember that even the most famous people are still people, not simply performers or stars. Every person, famous or not, is special just the way they are! 😁👍

The Fact is, Brilliantly multi-talented Zendaya acts, dances, writes, sings, paints/draws, produces, etc. Magnificent Zendaya even became a Trapeze Artist for her great film, The Greatest Showman, doing most of the stunts way up in the air herself! More recently Zendaya trained hard and became convincing as a professional tennis player. for her upcoming tennis film. The director said he used mostly scenes in which Zendaya actually played and rarely used any footage from the tennis playing stunt double! As for her private life? Beautiful (inside and out) young Zendaya's in love with a kind, funny, brilliantly multi-talented, successful, charitable young man, Tom Holland. And Zendaya's parents, former teachers, are the kind of people who told her long ago that if she ever wanted to stop acting, they would go back to teaching and the family would be fine. Zendaya has been soaring with that kind of love and support. May she continue to do so.

I heartily concur! Zendaya worked extremely hard on Dancing With The Stars. She had been a HIP-HOP dancer, and had to really dig deep to make herself a great ballroom dancer. Her Pro dancing partner on the show, Val, stated that Zendaya worked so, so hard. She was deservedly in the finals. I wish she'd have won, though.

She becomes someone else each dance, loving her role and the theme so much, everyone just melts with her. You can feel she's just a dancer without even caring she's a celebrity. She's so alive each performances feels like different eras

True. But Zendaya was a HIP-HOP dancer. Val spoke about how hard she worked to become a great Ballroom Dancer as well. She is fun and entertaining. And she did make it look easy - even though, as Val stated, wonderful Zendaya worked hard practicing ballroom until it did look effortless.

What a strong competitor (was angry she lost that season)...Val look so relaxed you can tell that he really trusted her ability as a dancer,performer...⭐⭐⭐⭐😉❤️✨✨!!!!.

So i had no idea that alot of choreo for the show is reused?? because I recognise in all of these dances, choreo from when Bindi Irwin and Derek Hough won in season 21. Like every movement is the same 🤔 Like seeing other comments and realising Zendaya and Val didn't win is super confusing because then why did Bindi and Derek win if it's copied choreo? I don't get it 😩

My nephew made me watch Zendaya Coleman in Casey undercover. He was so amorous over her until I watched her. A true talent.

I’m assuming you haven’t heard of her show Euphoria? She’s the youngest actress to ever win the Emmy for Best Actress in a Drama Series (won in 2020). She’s incredible and her career will only go up from here. Not to mention she’s the female lead in the MCU Spiderman movies and Dune, which may end up being a trilogy. Hollywood loves her and she quite literally has her pick of roles these days.
