Saying he didn’t want to let Tom down was a sign of great respect. His teammates wanted to play their best for him. And it showed.

"We worked for Bill, but we played for Tom," - Danny Amendola
you have to love that Brady liked having Eddelaman around to "bust his balls to make him human." This implies that Brady did not completely buy into all the hype surrounding him as the GOAT and his celebrity. Many iconic celebs go the opposite direction and only tolerate sycophants and followers. Laughing at yourself is healthy. Eddleman clearly knew his Senior role and his proximity to Brady made him the guy to make new team members more comfortable around Brady. This helped everyone reduce tension and create a good workflow (a key to organizational dynamics).

I've seen him standing next to Gronk and it's amazing he didn't get killed catching a ball between the numbers totally exposed. The same could be said of Amendola and Welker. Little guys (relatively speaking) in a big man's game.

@@JM-wd7uv after all these years, you still haven’t read the rule? The rule prohibited the way the Pats tapes signals ONLY if the video was being used for the game in which they were taping. The Pats settled that to save the league from looking bad because Roger Goodell tried to change the rule with a memo, instead of getting a majority vote for the owners as required. If it is going to court the Pats win. It just blows my mind that in a world where we all have a library on a laptop or phone that ppl haven’t read the rule. I surely you know by now that media sensationalizes & lies to us every day. I would love to say the Patriots cheated in beating my Steelers but they didn’t violate the rule. Then the rule was finally changed in the offseason by vote of the owners AFTER the Patriots were punished. It’s just a matter of looking for truth over emotion.

Bill Belichick is good but also very Lucky . Coached Lawrence Taylor in New York. Brady in New England. And when a little kid he would catch passes with Roger Staubach at the Navel Academy.

Julian, how are you that healthy, that young (37), and that grey?!?!?! Oldest brother is 36, then 35, then I’m 33. We all have a few but I couldn’t see myself being that grey at his age. Who knows? Maybe he’s far more stressed than I, but I doubt it. Perhaps it’s not what the stress is but how you handle it? Or perhaps it’s mainly or purely genetic.
