Julia Roberts honors her long-time friend, the “Renaissance man,” George Clooney, in a custom made dress featuring his visage.
The Kennedy Center Honors is an annual honor given to those in the performing arts for their lifetime of contributions to American culture.
The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts is proud to celebrate the 45th Honorees for lifetime artistic achievements: acclaimed actor and filmmaker George Clooney; contemporary Christian and pop singer-songwriter Amy Grant; legendary singer of soul, Gospel, R&B, and pop Gladys Knight; Cuban-born American composer, conductor, and educator Tania León; and iconic Irish rock band U2, comprised of band members Bono, The Edge, Adam Clayton, and Larry Mullen Jr.
The event took place Sunday, December 4th, 2022, in the Kennedy Center Opera House, was televised Wednesday, December 28th at 8/7c on CBS, and is streaming on Paramount+.

George Clooney was always great and Talented since the old days from the Golden Girls until now. He is this one-in-a-million guy. Love him, I always wanted a friend like him.

Julia Roberts is so cool and what a better way to portray Mr George Clooney but in a bar where his tequila made him famous as well. Lucky man. I'm calling him that today instead of George because of his special day at the White House it's not every day you get to go to the White House and especially receiving an award from the President of the United States. Congratulations to one of the sweeter ones.

Completely agree. This seems like a lot of powerful people wanting to promote a good friend and make him feel good. The Hawaii family drama has been the only thing to make any big waves quality wise, no?
