It is radical feminism, which has done little but divide our sexes despite needing each other to continue human existence, and has told men nothing but that they are by default awful and horrible and rapists and sexual predators etc. And who came up with this doctrine? It's okay though, because we can override that ideology in our head that tells us to blame and hate, rather than to forgive and simply be humane to each other ?:) Just have to accept it as an emotional rope ladder out of their to feel it, and if you want at any point - you can go back - but the parroting of ideas from feminist talking points is a political attempt to stir you and align you to a specific side of the isle via grievance movement association to that isle. Not a choice you made consciously through examination, it was picked for you already - you see how this works now? It's not about equality of the sexes, it's about creating women who want to hate and attack men into retaliation so one side can use it against another for politically optic purposes; creating directed chaos and using us a pawn in that battle... it's not good. So I chose forgiveness and it simply relieved much of this weight I was carrying around from being recreationally outraged at men; it's not healthy to have the name of your own sex: Woman, trigger such an intense reaction and forced you to spit out the talking points and force responsibility on the men when there aren't any here? idk the OP, but i'm a woman, and you are, and from his/her name you cant tell the sex or gender. Breathe, friend. :) There are plenty of good men left, a lot of them might have to be coaxed out of the darkness though. Because just as we were taught to fear them constantly, now they too fear us constantly. Forgive this fallability of our humanity, we knew not the gravity when all of this began. I’m sorry that my comment prompted such a passionate response, because I think I worded my original comment in slightly the wrong way, I haven’t got a problem with men at all, and I’m not a feminist, I should have said I have a problem with men who are pretending to be women and making real women feel bad about themselves. But I get your point, the feminist movement have done more harm than good. I have seen the effect it’s had on men, taking away their confidence and masculinity, not really knowing where they fit in anymore, I find it dreadful to think that we have survived on this planet for millions of years with men being men and women being women.and now we are all in such a fragile and confused state when really it’s all so simple. I miss the days when the door is held open for me by a gentleman, now men fear backlash for trying to be a gentleman, it upsets me greatly, but I’m not dwelling on it all day and every day of my life, but it does raise its ugly head every so often where I do feel angry at the situation that’s going on in our society. Though I consider myself not to be a feminist I do have a problem with male chauvinism, especially the type that existed in the 50s, 60s, and 70s ( and beyond ) if only we could get a happy medium where we all weren’t walking on eggshells around each other all the time. Sometimes you have to think about where something started so you can nip it in the bud before it becomes a worldwide problem. Though, getting back to what my original comment was about, I think the whole transgender business and people calling themselves gender fluid and non-binary is a huge problem that isn’t going to go away any time soon. A lot of people are becoming confused and now they’re making children confused, teaching things in schools that they have no right to be even talking about to impressionable children. One school here in the UK has over 70 of their children claiming to be unsure of what sex they are! This is alarming in the extreme. it’s insidious and worrying. My opinions on it may be unpopular with a lot of people, but unless we state what we really think, it’s too easy for everyone to become oppressed and go along with things they don’t believe in. I’ve just read that a politician has come out as a pansexual, what is that? Is the word bisexual being replaced by pansexual? I am so confused.

As for transgenders why don’t we call them exactly that, transgenders. If surgeons refused to do sex change operations and if those operations were banned and illegal together with the accompanying medications then most of these problems would disappear or at least become very rare. The whole argument and debate is ridiculous in my opinion because at the end of the day there are only two sexes male and female. Interestingly, it also assumed an assumption of a gender binary, which makes it not accepted by the intersex community who are genuinely biologically, non-binary. Ironically, all of this trans bullshit has proven to be overwhelmingly negative for the intersex community, which is the only group of people that have a legitimate biological claim to non binary status. @@ascensionblade I don't think I said anything to the contrary. There are two sexes. These are *categories*. That doesn't mean that some people can't have categories of more than one. The colors red and green are both categories. Red is demonstrably not green and green is demonstrably not red. There are apples that are considered "red" (ie Red Delicious) and there are apples that are considered "green" (ie Grannysmith). Just because a Red Delicious apple has some green on it doesn't make it not a "red" apple, nor would a bit of red on a Grannysmith make it not a "green" apple. No variation of apple coloring would change the definition of the color red or green. Individual samples do not define the category. Intersex are different from "Trans" people. Intersex people have non-standard chromosomes - and potentially gametes too. Intersex grouping includes multiple conditions, most of which do not have the potential for gametes of both sexes. Trans people would therefore be people who identify as an opposite gender (or non-existent gender) because of reasons that are not biological. Intersex is biological. Even within Intersex, true hermaphroditism is *exceptionally* rare. Probably less than 5 confirmed cases in all of history and even that is debatable. This is not as relevant for humans as it is for the theory of the argument. Sex and gender are not uniquely human. But the gender binary does actually remain intact, even within species that normally have a much less rigid gamete/chromosome complement. In some fish, they can have up to 6 chromosomes. Some fish and reptiles can have Z chromosomes, not just X and Y. Some fish have a normal life cycle where they change gender as they age. Some fish can change sex based on need. There are multiple types of fish that can self-fertilize as well. Still, none of this affects the definitions of the categories, but it does mean that gametes and the lack of evidence of self-fertilization potential within humans is able to argue against Intersex as a condition of non-binary status. Non-binary conditions clearly can exist, even while a gender binary does. So if you want to use a very robust biological argument, you can't hold to the idea that mono-gametic species are the only way to view sex and gender. The definition that biology allows, which includes intersex and non-binary conditions does work well with existing evidence. You can certainly go ahead with the gamete argument, but it gets very difficult when you have a hermaphrodite with XXYY with a functioning penis and semi-functioning testes (without viable sperm production), but with a functioning set of ovaries as well - or for that matter, a female with a fully formed vagina and clitoris, but no ova and non-descended testes instead of ovaries. OK, so no self-fertilization, but there has to be some room in the conversation to allow for genuine, biologically demonstrated intersex conditions. Even with the potential for self-fertilization, the definition for male and female sexes does not break down because it is a *category*, not dependent on individual samples. If a person can demonstrate that they have self-fertilization ability, then they can be identified as a true hermaphrodite. However, using secondary sexual characteristics can allow intersex definitions as well without true hermaphroditism. The key detail here is that there are actual biological, demonstrable conditions behind this. If someone simply has a malformed penis, perhaps a diverted urethra or maybe just a twist, but this is a birth defect, not a genetic or chromosomal abnormality, ideally, they would not be classified in the same sense as a person with an identical penis malformation, but a chromosomal cause. This is usually what we find within Intersex communities. If you don't have a genetic condition, you may be tolerated within the group socially, but it is a different type of condition and may simply be repaired by cosmetic surgery (and often is). The same would go for a person who had suffered an injury or surgery and lost crucial tissue that was part of the general definition of male or female. A person who had lost their testicles/ovary/uterus/penis/clitoris would therefore not be considered intersex or non-binary, but simply part of the normal gender binary.

Pre-D , by 2025 top, long format, radio podcasts will have more listeners daily than the BBC TV shows have viewers. And when one considered the replays and post plays ... their listener ship is already probably = or > than old media TV shows. Joe Rogan has 1M live streaming in real time for his JBP interview Thursday night and its already at 2M views total. The new media ( vs the old) was actually the #1 reason for the Brexit and Trump results and .... Not only is that trend going to grow but ... as both the younger and oldest generations ( most suspectible to current education doctrine and old media respectively ) get hip to it and as a result learn how to A. think for themselves and B. get un-indoctrinated from the historical educational and old media biases ... those types of political results are going to gain steam. The politicians realize this. That they have lost control of the messaging and that the new media is turning into an educational means by which the internet is finally fulfilling some of its original promise. This scares them shitless, that's why they are trying to ( EU articles 11 and 13) wrestle the genie back into a bottle and retain \ regain control of "the message". They are tired of poll results taken through traditional means that are off by 5-10%. Nwes flash ... its going to get worse for them ... I predict the next set of British election , Brexit vote 2 ( if it happens) , and US exection polls will be off ( done by the old media and their left leaning polling orgs in the traditional ways ... ) by a full 10-15%. Maybe even 20. And that's off by an erroneous margin leaning to the left. They are in for more surprises. You ignore the people and what they really think for too long at your own peril. If you’re talking about disabled folk you use the term ‘able bodied’ for those who aren’t disabled. Same with cis. The point is that she or any of us are not obligated to change our speech to accommodate someone else just because they say so. You say calling someone "cis" is just a way of differentiating between the two, but we already have that - woman or man, or trans woman or trans man. Most often I see "cis" used in what comes off as more derogatory in manner and tone by allies and members of the transgender community. I'm not saying that is its intention, but it comes off that way often, especially to people who are not trans or may not have had much experience with someone who is. To that I would say that more than likely, your average person probably doesn't have much experience with the trans community. This whole movement that is happening is all very new. The trans community has never had this much attention, or rise in people coming out as trans. Change takes time, and can take patience, forcing people to speak a certain way or face social or financial destruction is not going to make change any easier, only more tumultuous than it has to be. With that being said, I completely agree that people should be able to live their lives anyway they want, as long as they are not hurting anyone else. But to force others to do things they do not want to do is wrong. Plain and simple.
