Juki RS-1R Unpacking and Commissioning

Ғылым және технология

My Juki RS-1R is finally here and being installed... come along on the journey as the machine is unpacked and commissioned - maybe I'll even get a first panel built?!
Big thanks to the team at SUBA for making this all happen!

    Not surprising that the Juki moves pretty fast, but it is impressive considering all that hardware mounted on the head assembly. Serious servos required!

  • @UnexpectedMaker

    @UnexpectedMaker

    Serious serious chunky servos - and that speed was about 40% slower than it's running now. Def gotta keep my hands out of this while it's going ;)

    I know you prefer long-form discussion videos, but I simply don't have the time to watch them - that's why I like videos like this (although a bit of info about what the kit is, what it's replacing and why you're installing it would be helpful!). Thank you.

  • @UnexpectedMaker

    @UnexpectedMaker

    Жыл бұрын

    I've gone over most of that in my streams a few times, sorry. I know they are long, and it's not that I prefer them, but it's way easier to do a stream than to put together a concise video. A 3 hour stream takes me 3 hours to make. A 20min video takes me about 4 days to make. I just don't have the time with what I'm juggling, but I'll try to make more shorter videos about the Juki over the next few months.

    I went from a Qihe QM61 to a Hanwha SM482+. On paper they look very similar but in practice they are in different worlds. Even though the Hanwha is a lot more expensive, the price/performance ratio is a lot better on it. I considered Juki as well but the price for a new one was out of my budget.

  • @UnexpectedMaker

    @UnexpectedMaker

    Жыл бұрын

    I was originally going to order a new SM482+ but SUBA offered me a deal on the Juki that I just couldn't walk away from. The SM482+ is a great machine, and I'm sure I would have been happy with that as well, but the RS-1R is my dream machine... and now its mine!
