I was just saying that when I was watching a video of his but I wish you were still here because he was evolving the rap game he was evolving hip hop. His sound was so unique and so fluent very unique. I cry when I think about the loss. It actually is autotuned, but not in the same style of the album. He is singing it in a way where he is mimicking the intentional heavy autotune style of the album version of the song, so it sounds more raw.

@itsZ 4747 There is for sure. Either Autotune or Melodyne. Listen careful at the end of his phrases, the pitch quickly is corrected in a non-human way. The producer used it tastefully though, most non-producers will not notice it.

@@NytronX It should be pretty obvious to anyone honestly, but yeah a lot of times autotune and melodyne are looked down upon as a crutch, and though it's obviously used that way quite often it can also just be used as a vocal effect to get a different sound. It's weird to me that people accept guitar distortion as a perfectly natural and great way to color guitar playing to make a sound that is impossible to make organically, but when autotune is used for the exact same reason people think it's shit. It sounds great here, as it's used to color his voice to give it a unique sound. T Pain being an obvious example, dude had that crazy distinct use of it but anyone that's ever heard him sing naturally would instantly know he absolutely doesn't need it, he has a ridiculously good voice and sings well, but like guitar distortion, he used it to make a really unique effect.

It's the way he choses unique notes and somehow creates a rythmic melody with it, as I said he doesn't need autotune to create the melody. The off notes ARE the melody.

there is autotune in the high pitch notes except on the last word he says which is "dreams" that word wusnt auto-tuned now yes most of the sing he didnt use autotune and gotta give him props bcoz to barely use auto-tune for this song must be very hard and he still sounded good but as far as no auto-tune lets face it all these rappers deez days habe to use auto-tune at 1 point or another in their songs if not full time however Juice only used it when he needed to hesr and that is great.
