Wow! Count Basie brought the BEST out of singers. Judy Garland sounds great here.
Since it's snowin' & blowin' so hard here I thought this was appropriate for tonight here in chilly Philly, The Great Miss Judy & The Great Count Basie swingin it !! Love Judy, Love The Count !!
The Judy Garland Show was supposed to be a Huge deal back then why didn't they fim it in color? Since TV was switching to color and people were buying color tv sets they should have let us see Miss Garland in living color! This show may have been canceled after it' first season, it is now regarded as The Crown jewel in the treasure chest of all of Garland's work. She looked so great and sounded amazing, that filming in color would have been awesome..

I’m listening to “I’ve Got My Love To Keep Me Warm”-and I can’t understand why on earth someone would cut off the ending!!! There is a natural build and momentum to the well-structured performance, and then some nut fades out the ending!!! Totally anticlimactic and incredibly thoughtless.

Where did you find this footage? I have the DVD of the Judy Garland Show Vol 1 with the second episode featuring Count Basie, but this song is cut out of it. Any idea where I could find it?
