They might have been the early Stingers that only have an impact fuse. The K models have a prox fuse and a couple seemed to get close enough to trigger that. Mostly I’m impressed he was able to get the Stingers to lock. I’ve had trouble a few times getting them to lock onto props.

For maximum memes, you should have taken the sturmpanzer as well, and used it to get the Stuka. The Stu-Stu combo, at 11.0.

PHLY I must share, I have discovered that the trees fall in a random direction for other players!!! The tree falling direction is only client side so the tree camo is sadly not effective ))): (no wonder I kept dying trying to use it)

the worst thing is when buildings desync and on one player's end it's destroyed so he can see through but on other player's end it's not. actually i don't know if this is still an issue, maybe they fixed it

@@_invencible_ another issue with buildings is that destroyed buildings can render as intact when playing air in ground rb, and also intact buildings can render in as destroyed. The latter being much more dangerous because you might think there's a space to fly through, only to impact on what looked like thin air.

I’m pretty new to the game, only up to 5.0 Italy, but when that new 100mm Italian Milk Truck comes out next patch I will definitely be pairing that with the JU 87 for some serious fun

I could see people doing this irl. They’re so slow most radar stations would consider it a civilian craft. Stay out of sight lines and you could likely get to the battlefield without even being detected. Case in point: the guy who flew a Cessna into the Red Square. SAMs and heatseekers wouldn’t be that difficult to dodge in one of these either. Rear aspect missiles typically target the aircraft by tracking the heat plume from the engines, but that doesn’t really work with a front engine aircraft. For most SAMs, they would struggle to even lock on in the first place and if they did would likely overcompensate as their CPUs would expect the aircraft to be moving much faster and would mostly overshoot the target.

@@merafirewing6591 Not modern SAMs because they are FLIR or IRST and can target them via radar, but anything from the late Cold War or immediate aftermath (which Russia and China still have a very large stock of) they would laugh at. And again: someone flew a Cessna into the middle of the Red Square. The issue is that Radar stations think something moving that slowly is a civilian aircraft and will choose not to fire on it. MANPADs would likely fail to work as well since they are heatseekers.

"If you go 14 kilometers an hour from 14 kilometers away, 12.5 minutes!" Does that make sense? It shouldnt, it should take 1 hour, or 60 minutes.

I remember an interview of an American in Vietnam when the NVA invaded with tanks and anti tank weapons wasn't exactly common for US troops and he called for air support and asked for Stukas and the radio operator was confused asking what was the identification number for a Stuka and he yells JU-87!!! In the end they found out someone accidently sent anti tank rockets to a Cobra Helicopter unit and they had a field day with unprotected T-34s. Hmm 1960's rockets on 1940's tanks, sounds like life imitating War Thunder. Edit* For those wondering I think I saw it on a wings over Vietnam episode about the Cobra attack helicopter.

The 14km flight is why I wish every airfield was available at every tier and they just moved the AA defense to the tier appropriate one. So you can use closer bases if you want but you will be vulnerable to enemy aircraft if you do.

hey PhlyDaily i personaly love playing the CHI-HE and A6M2-N. CHI-HE has decent 50 mm armor and a 47mm cannon with a 3.3 reload aced. give it a try you can kill most except heavily armored tanks. try the only Japanese tank you can mostly rely on your frontal armor.

Love the vibe with the background music. The drop when that Jaguar missile hit was satisfying

Watched an hour ago as well in my hometown in Italy. People clapped at end. Hollywood didn't make anything this good since decades. First movie i see in a long time that isn't woke garbage or Marvel crap. Pure storytelling and depiction of the American Dream, loved It.

You should play the AMX-40 and the AMX-32, two very similar vehicles and both are quite good and fun. The AMX-32 does lack in mobility and armor, but it is still competitive at 9.7

Guys , i have a lil issue with the rangefinder , when i range find a tank the barrel dont set the required hight , its just gimme the number and thats it , and when im rangerfind a tank i cant move the turret or it will reset itself to zero

Any tips from anyone on playing the F2H-2? I have tried playing it like a shooting star and like a sabre but just can’t seem to get the hang of her. Looked at Phly and Bo’s videos on it but they are years out of date, I just seem to keep being annihilated by Mig21s, G91s, and Mig17s whilst only getting the occasional kill.
