Interesting fact about German engines! Through out the 30s-40s Germany never really developed long lasting compressible refrigerants. This means they really struggled to push their radiator designs as far as other competing nations. Think about the size of the radiators in the F and G series 109s compared to Mk9 Spitfires and Mustangs. It's one of the reasons they went so hard into cowling based radiators in addition to traditional scoop rads on many designs. It's also why the 111 feels like it constantly want's to kill it's own engines in every game that lets you fly one since they never got any of the improved radiators you'd commonly see on other German planes. The Ju's weren't much better off in this.

you can mitigate this issue by turning off the auto level, not go for a shallow dive, and use your bomber site

If you like the early war "German" stuff, try out the Finnish Arado float plane. Basically the same as the German one, except it gets two guns in the turret, with 1000 rpg. It's amazing

I agree that low-tier is fun and clearly in line with the intent of the game's creators. The battles often last long enough to return to base, repair & rearm and return to the battlefield area to drop a 2nd load of bombs. I have even been in several where I could repeat that process again and get in a 3rd bomb drop.

I like how the Pandora’s box event is so unimportant that even phly doesn’t cover anything about it

Phly should cover the 3.0 F4U in Ground RB, specifically climbing to 3km up getting up to 800+ km/h in a dive then dropping a 1000lb bomb on an enemy. This will help people complete the current battlepass by providing an example on how to do it.

I had a great time dogfighting in the Blenheim. It had a single .303 way out on one wing, and the plane could take a lot of abuse.

1 of the big things that let Planes last longer in old days, is still used even in Passenger planes. Gelled Fuel. Exploding a gas tank, took special ammo, it had to enter the Hest up FAST of explode. Gelled Fuel Takes allot to explode, there is less Fumes.

7:35 if you want a plane that actually burns its engines, play the first SU-6 attacker. It’s an incredibly fun plane with danger ground attack capabilities but damn, if it isn’t a slow hog and burns if you try to change that fact

One of my favourite planes to use like you said low tire bommers don't get the love they deserve but there is a slightly better version of it gets a better loadout and tends to keep the engines cooler

You should try the a-4 variant it carries 500kg bombs and 28x50 kg bombs Big explosions and bombseries is very fun to play And in my opinion it's a little better manoverable even with more payload

Just a lineup for thought... Bring out the IKV 73 and its brother the EH, the high speed, heavy armored 2.7 juggernauts. APCR for the T-50s and B1s, APHE to kill everything else in one shot. They can steamroll almost anything. And maybe back them up with the Finnish Buffalo. Most fun I've had in WT in years. I feel like everything else is mediocre.

I've played ground up to br 10.5 or so, and have found ground to be most fun at br 4 or lower. What I like about those games is the slug fest of the fights, the one hit kills of the higher ranked games just aren't that forgiving.
