  As a former cobra pilot I suppose the tactics used in these games is more for fun but in reality with a tow missile we could hit targets out till about 2.3 mi. The 20 mm is effective up to 2000 yd the Rockets are good at close to 5 mi. We have no need to get that close. On a good day they will never know where the fire is coming from. It has the ability to airmail high explosive rounds to a target that will never ever see or hear you. Just say'n.

  I know this is a different concept, but you should recreate battles from Star Wars inside war thunder. Star Wars is basically ww2 in space. So just replace all the vehicles with ww2 vehicles and put them in similar scenarios. Like the battle of hoth, yavin, Endor, anything that would work. It would be such a cool idea. Small team infiltrating enemy base to get plans to their super weapon, and the only way to get the info out is to commit basically the entire fleet to an assault. Then they use that info to destroy the super weapon. Flying through a trench to get to the weak spot with a rocket. Or mercenary group blockades and invades a country, where a kid sneaks into a fighter plane and flies directly inside their flag ship, and accidentally blows up their reactor. Or a Special forces team sneaks behind enemy lines to sabotage their technology, allowing the entire fleet to destroy a new more powerful super weapon. Epic ridiculous battles.
