Joscho Stephan & Robin Nolan - Djangology
Музыка
www.GypsyJazzSecrets.com
I got a chance to record some music and chat with Joscho Stephan last Djangofest and wanted to share this hot version of Djangology with you.
Joscho is featured in our upcoming Gypsy Jazz Secrets. Watch out for him on the cover, along with killer performances, interview and lesson.
He's an UBER Django player!

The great thing about both these guys is they are uniquely themselves and don't try to be someone they are not. They both have unique sounds that show their personality. No one has the virtuosity of Joscho but that doesn't diminish the special things Robin has that Joscho doesn't. Don't have to put one down to elevate the other.
Joscho is a technical wizard, and the other guys appreciate this. His hot licks even crack up Tommy E. He catches flak for being over the top, but there's room for everybody in the wonderful genre.

That's it! I am giving up!! LOL...how inspiring is this..and full of warmth, flavour and life!! Love it!
Mercy....I can't stop watching. Just too beautiful.
If it wasn't for Joshco, I wouldn't know about Gypsy jazz. I saw him being interviewed on Troy Grady's "Cracking The Code," Thats when I first heard about Gypsy Jazz. I started to seriously get into it in the summer of 2020. Thx for this video Robin and Joshco.
Credit to Robin. I would NOT want to take a solo straight after Joscho! :)

That was amazing!
Awesome!!
All the knowing glances really show the conversation they are having
Amazing 🤩!! Thanks.
Excellent guys.
Freaking fantastic.
I like the communication that goes back and forth between the two. Also, the sweep arpeggio with harmonics at 0:52 - 0:53 was really clean.
Awsome! Big hug for you Robin!

yes I agree Fabrizio! Robin
That 'smaller mouthed' big-mouth guitar of Joscho's looks better than the proper 'big mouth' -- sounds better too;; I like how the humbucker is fitted to it - and almost blends in with the fretboard. Great playing from these two 'youngsters'.!! :))
Why most of you want to give up? It's not the right answer. I played guys who are better than me, and they always find the good side of my playing, and even find something to learn "Hey, it's nice, how did you do that?" :) Nothing beats the live music, when the player is front of you, and he (Joscho) can't be anywhere. It started with recordings, at the end, it killed live music, what is sad somehow.
Hot as lava

Someething I don't like of such great t players is, jamming all the time on you tube, it is hard to find a good and tasty propose on this área, to many Licks! One' s get ti red of that.
i was sure that we had a split screen situation going on
0:58 desafinado ;)
too bad
Joscho's playing is much too slow and sloppy for my taste......(sarcasm)

technically Joscho is great, but it is loaded with testosterone. Music is not really there... Robin is a true player and he does play music

Nah, they're both good.
Joschco is a good guitarist but he overplays, and he doesn't lay back but instead plays at the same heavy level all the time. Lay back, Joscho! Less is more!
