There is no better pundit in the UK than SJ, even when I don't necessarily agree with what he's saying I still respect it as he puts it across in an eloquent informed logical & rational manner. Just wish some of our politicians were more like this man. I would say he's wasted on talk sport but he's the only reason I listen to this show.

Hang On - Sort you research out. That period marcus was off was because of a back injury which he had and didn't get fixed early (manutd wanted him to ), Just so he could go to the euros. He did , missed a pen, got abused and then went to get his surgery. Last Season he was recovering for the first part of the season and was nowhere near his best. Martin needs to do the leg work here and check the facts properly
