Jorah committed immoral act after immoral act in the name of Lust, he's not stupid he knows that this woman never loved him but would need to be entertained as a result. He could have bankrupted his own house, he had responsibilities as a leader and man, yet he left them all in pursuit of the favour of a young entitled little girl. He should have died that day Ned Stark arrived on Bear Isle but he ran, then he was willing to kill another teenage girl to add to the list of disgusting things he's done. But, only his lust saved her. He has no honour, and there is no redemption for this man but if he cares about Dany he will stop trying to fuck her and maybe just maybe he will sacrifice himself for something worth dying for before the mere uttering of his name leaves a foul taste in the mouth.

The mention about Fishwives and Crofters daughters is important. Jorah has been used by women, but he has also been a user of women. His transactional view of relationships (in the books) is being called out. Show Jorah is a beautiful disaster, but Book Jorah is a cautionary tale of unchecked desire.

There are literally hundreds of poems and stories about good men/women falling prey to bad men/women. Though to be fair, it was all done in a string of bad judgement calls and glory of the moment as Jorah recounted. Lynesse's gift of her colors to Ser Jorah was a ladylike courtesy, but, the father should have refused the marriage proposal even if he didn't notice Ser Jorah was drunk. Lynesse was high society and accustomed to money and any of its comforts while her father must have known from his own education in Oldtown that Bear Island was an isolated house in the far north. She was swept off her feet in the same way Ser Jorah was. The father should have had more prudence and at the very least waited a day or two for the glory of the moment to pass so he could ask some questions. However, Ser Jorah was a war hero and had just won a glorious tourney, and remote house or not he was one of the more major northern lords and Lynesse's family was probably a smaller house among the smaller houses in the south with little chance 'marrying up'. The father probably thought she would enjoy her elevated status as a lord's wife and surely thought such titles have money to back it. To refuse Jorah's offer or even stall on it might have been seen as madness or certainly a grave insult from a lesser house. So his doubts were also swept away in the moment. Lastly, Lynesse we can guess, was happy in the marriage honeymoon but in the end when she got to her new home the culture shock of a wilderness living from the urban culture she was raised in was to much to process at once. In time she probably viewed the entire marriage as a trap and betrayal of her trust and innocence since she was never told about what to expect and even her father, presumably, never warned her. Since she could not easily communicate or visit her southern family or friends, run the house or have parties like she was accustomed to, or even distract herself with intelligent conversations with learned people she became bitter, jealous, wrathful. Jorah tried to appease her but such a betrayal in the mind is hard to dispel no matter what is conjured up to distract it away. Hence the tragedy and the sad but great character development of GRRM.
