Firing Line's new title should be Toe the Line.

Let's say Israel succeeds in ridding Palestine of Palestinians, then what? Will Palestinians suddenly stop wanting to go home? This is so sickening. There seems to be no way out. And the children of all sides will live in perpetual trauma.

Consider that Palestinian children have yet to be able to vote on their future governance.

I can't thank you enough for the facts when they are so badly needed. Margaret Hoover does such a great job on unbiased journalism, impressive.❤

Both Firing Line and Amanpour are bringing foremost involved and experienced parties to help inform the public. The better we understand the nuances of this long-term, unspeakable conflict, the better we can develop consensus to craft a solution - which, by the way, will likely exemplify forward-looking worldwide diplomacy in general for the foreseeable future.

To guerita 72... If you're disappointed in the pro israeli comments on the firing line program you just watched what would you deem appropriate remarks by a pro 19:49 Islamic.? individual

Completely one-sided, pro-Israel interview. I thought there would be someone else to come on and give the other side of the story, but nope.

It's PBS. The more irrelevant they've become over the years, the more they've had to rely on corporate donors instead of the public and this funding shift has also led to a shift in their "reporting".

@@claudesylvanshine6551 I haven't noticed that to be true at all. That's why I was fully expecting someone with the other side of the story to come on and why I was so shocked that no one did. I'm not familiar with this show in particular, but I still was expecting better.

A lot of folks are expressing the sentiment that they are missing mention of Israel's persistent suppression of Palestinians' human rights in recent decades. Whether or not everyone fully agrees that Israel's heavy-handedness and wrongful acquisitiveness demand accountability, reparations and full withdrawal, this moment must have its specific analysis, understanding and treatment, as Hamas is well-understood not to represent today's Palestinian diaspora while simultaneously strategizing to do what Hitler failed to do to the Jews.

@@Guerita72 The show's format is not a newsmagazine. It usually focuses on one interview at a time. As this drags on, I'm sure she'll have on opposing players.

It is very disheartening how an otherwise intelligent host gives a full throttled voice to an extremist whose thoughts and policies perpetuate conflicts.
