⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ five star reporter, Margaret Hoover, TY for interesting content everytime, excellent presentation.❤
Bret Stephens is quite brilliant on all topics. I greatly admire his contributions to the public square. Margaret Hoover - I hope she continues hosting this PBS program. We can never have enough smart and well informed citizens share their experiences, insight and perspectives. We can all learn something just by listening. Thank you so much.
Stephens is on point
excellent interview and perspective. Very informative.
The NewsHour is airin' on most PBS stations a special report about the Israel war. If you miss this episode, you can watch later. #FiringLineShow
The parallel’s between Mr Stephens casual explanation of the Israeli government’s intel failures and their straw man politics and the GOP’s decades long political project in the US is profound.
When I subscribed to the NY times I would always read Brett's column. I consider myself left but I liked what he had to say. But because he is a Conservative many of the comments following his piece were hypercritical and dogmatic. The woke left needs to change and maybe one day it will. The MAGA types aren't helpful either. Between the two the USA is in a precarious position.
Good Work Magaret
Great show as usual I’m a democrat but I love you and your show
This would have been like having 45,000 Americans dead on a 9/11 type of attack. Just awful.
Margaret's abandoning her usual sharp questions. No doubt huge pressure...
Margaret Hoovers speaking cadence is extremely annoying.
He blames Netanyahu, for reforming efforts started a year ago but fails to recognize that intelligence shows Hamas has had this attack in the works for over 2 years.

Netanyaha needs this conflict! That's how he stays in power.
Watching this in early March is interesting.
Did he say Hamas wouldn't hurt Palestinians? He needs to get real about that.

He also said he hopes Palestinians don't starve to death.
Was Hamas baited into this provocation?
